Author has written 27 stories for Harry Potter, and Sherlock.
UNFINISHED FIC ALERT: I have abandoned NEITHER of my multi-chapter fics. I'm just a little lazy and a lot uninspired and a very great deal sidetracked with fandoms in general. But I still have every intention of finishing both "Waking Up" and "Of Dragons and Ravens." If I ever decided to abandon either/both (which I have absolutely no plans of ever doing), I would be kind enough to let you all know on the fic and on this profile. Forgive me for taking so long to update, however. I've been wanting to for months (years), honestly. But forcing it out seems unkind to the creative process. But I, like any other reader, hate waiting, so I know your pain. But please, bear with me.
My readers are magnificent. Not that I need anyone to make me feel like a writer, but thank you all for making me feel like a writer. Like what I wanted to get across in my work was not only understood and appreciated, but hit home for some of you. Thank you for being life-affirming.
I'm officially a fanfic writer! :D x3 Thanks to all who have read, reviewed, favorited, and/or followed my stories. It pleases me no end. :) I hope I make you proud! Any suggestions for improving either/both uncomplete fic(s) is appreciated. :) And my readers can talk to me anytime, whether you wish to discuss my fics or not. I've gotten to know some fabulous people talking about random stuff. x3
Greetings! So, I'm a lover of Harry Potter fanfiction, especially the Harry/Draco (Drarry) pairing. I've also discovered a love of Veela pairings where either one or both Harry and/or Draco are Veelas; bonus if it's Harry. Veela!Draco fics litter the web. Recently discovered a love of Johnlock from BBC Sherlock-verse. Jimlock is cool, too.
Notes about me as a reader/reviewer: I'm nit picky. I was likely born to be a writer. As such, I read a lot. And I've got a decent enough memory for details. This means I will likely catch those small little inconsistencies in people's works and I will point them out. Think of it as me helping you other writers grow. It's no less than I expect others to do to me. Also, I'm opinionated as hell. This means I will likely comment on everything. Therefore, I will solely rack your reviews up, if you have enough chapters in your story. But it should be noted, my comments are mostly constructive. Sometimes they're just me ranting about what I did or didn't like, but they usually aim to improve whatever they're referring to.
Ships: HP- I don't usually go outside of the Drarry ship, though I enjoy other pairings within Drarry fics, usually. I've seen a good Hermione/Blaise pairing, an implied Luna/Blaise pairing (weird, but strangely attractive), a Seamus/Dean pairing, and the usual Hermione/Ron pairing. I also like the Neville/Ginny pairing. Also don't mind the Sirius/Lupin(/Severus) grouping. Even the occasional Lucius/Snape pairing.
Sherlock- I dig Johnlock and Jimlock. Could probably handle a Mystrade or two.
Turn offs: Usually Harry or Draco with someone besides each other. This has exceptions, though, as I recently read a fic with Harry and OC. ("Chocolate" by Bluumberry) Good fic. I also read a Hermione/Draco pairing that wasn't too much of a turnoff.
Harry or Draco with someone way older than them or something. I gag when I see Harry/Severus or Harry/Lucius and DEFINITELY Harry/Voldemort fics. x.x Or really any pairing with generational gaps in partners. I started reading a teaser fic with Albus with first Lily, then Hermione. I gagged. Hard. Didn't get past chapter 1.
When people play Seamus. Seamus is the man! He is the absolute. I hate when people make he and/or Dean a villain. He was even a Death Eater in one fic. That was painful. I don't even mind when Seamus is with Harry or Draco BEFORE they get together. He's that's bloody golden in my eyes.
Sherlock/John with other people (except in Jimlock). But when you're made for someone, you don't break that up, people.
Bad spelling/grammar, but I can get over this if the fic seems worth reading. Please don't get offended if I suggest getting a beta, though.
Excessive character bashing. HP- Ginny really isn't that bad, people. Nor is Ron.
When reviewers give away the story. I tend to read reviews before starting a story to see how others liked it. People ruin the whole end of the story in reviews sometimes, though. Tag your spoilers, people.
To date, I've officially written eleven fanfics, eight of which are finished oneshots! :D! By this point I've read plenty, as attested to by my favs list, which of course only includes the ones I've read on this site. I can assure you I've read several more elsewhere, though this is my go to site. I mainly write poetry. I've written a couple stories in my younger years, though.
Drarry Shoutouts: First to Ahja Reyn who wrote the fanfic that got me into the Drarry ship, "Harry Potter and the Children of the Future." Next to vvc for "Desperate Measures" and Chereche for "Being a Veela's Mate," two of the best Veela fics I've ever read and my favorite fics hands down. Next to plumeria who wrote my favorite handicap Drarry fic to date, "Draco in Darkness." This also led to me liking a handicapped Draco in general. I've now read fics with him blind, paralyzed, with amnesia, and mute. To Lomonaaeren, because "Changing of the Guard" was just so... no words. To InferiorBeing for "Black Truth." An excellent fic with a Vaerie that led to my current Veela obsession. To unfocused-muse for "From the Ashes," a fic I need her to finish. I'm sincerely digging her darker Harry. *shivers* To Ashita polar for "They That Love Beyond the World." No one should cry so much in one fic. But damn her, she's magnificent. And to all the other authors on my Fav/Alert story lists. You made it there for a reason.
Johnlock Shoutouts: To perfect fics: "Performance in a Leading Role" by MadLori (READ. IT.), "Nature and Nurture" by earlgreytea68 (highly recc'd if you like parentlock), "Saving Sherlock Holmes" by earlgreytea68 (teenlock. Read it.), "The Bang and the Clatter" by earlgreytea68 (highly recced baseball AU), "Chameleon" by velvet_mace (unfinished but sure to make your life), and "Gravity" by WendyBird (I adored this. Post Fall). Commendations to other noteworthy fics to come.
Random Crap: I've decided I'm in love with Lomonaaeren's talent. If I can't marry it, I'll settle for the woman. She doesn't know this yet, though. We'll come together and make beautiful stories. She's already seduced me highly.
sunshien: My mom asked why I don’t read as many books as I used to and I just said it was because I read a lot of unpublished stories from independent writers online, and she thinks that’s very good of me to give undiscovered authors a chance. Hahaha. I just read gay porn.
