"The stories we love best do live in us forever, so whether you come back on the pages or on the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home"

"Harry, suffering like this proves you are still a man! This pain is part of being human … the fact that you can feel pain like this is your greatest strength." -Dumbledore

"You haven't got a letter on yours," George observed. "I suppose she thinks you don't forget your name. But we're not stupid - we know we're called Gred and Forge."

"Harry!" said Fred, elbowing Percy out of the way and bowing deeply. "Simply splendid to see you, old boy--"
"Marvelous," said George, pushing Fred aside and seizing Harry's hand in turn. "Absolutely spiffing."
Percy scowled.
"That's enough, now," said Mrs. Weasley.
"Mum!" said Fred as though he'd only just spotted her and seizing her hand too. "How really corking to see you--"

"You're a prefect? Oh Ronnie! That's everyone in the family!"
"What are Fred and I? Next door neighbours?" -George and Mrs. Weasley

"Well, I certainly don't," said Percy sanctimoniously. "I shudder to think what the state of my in-tray would be if I was away from work for five days."
"Yeah, someone might slip dragon dung in it again, eh, Perce?" said Fred.
"That was a sample of fertilizer from Norway!" said Percy, going very red in the face. "It was nothing personal!"
"It was," Fred whispered to Harry as they got up from the table. "We sent it."

"Don't worry. You're just as sane as I am." -Luna Lovegood

"Now, you two – this year, you behave yourselves. If I get one more owl telling me you've – you've blown up a toilet or –"
"Blown up a toilet? We've never blown up a toilet."
"Great idea though, thanks, Mum." Mrs. Weasley, Fred, and George

"Well none of us really fancy it, Harry. Imagine if something went wrong and we were stuck as specky, scrawny gits forever." -Fred

"Wow, we're identical!" -Fred and George

"...and there's its twin, unnatural little beasts they are." Kreacher (referring to Fred and George)

"And if Dobby does it wrong, Dobby will throw himself off the topmost tower, Harry Potter!"
"There won't be any need for that." -Harry and Dobby

"It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, just as much to stand up to our friends." -Albus Dumbledore (referring to Neville Longbottom)

"They run of eckeltricity, do they?" he said knowledgeably. "Ah yes, I can see the plugs. I collect plugs." -Mr. Weasley

"Are you quite sure you wouldn't like a cough drop, Dolores?" Professor McGonnagall

"Potter," she said in ringing tones, "I will assist you to become an Auror if it is the last thing I do! If I have to coach you nightly I will make sure you achieve the required results!" -Professor McGonnagall (I love this part!)

"Welcome to the Ministry of Magic. Please state your business."
"Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger," Harry said very quickly, "Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood... We're here to save someone unless your Ministry can do it first!"

"Thank you," said the cool female voice. "Visitors, please take your badges and attach them to the front of your robes."

He glanced at the topmost one.

Lord Of The Rings

Pippin: I didn’t think it would end this way.
Gandalf: End? No, the journey doesn’t end here. Death is just another path… One that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass… And then you see it.
Pippin: What? Gandalf?… See what?
White shores… and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.
Pippin: Well, that isn’t so bad.
Gandalf: No… No it isn’t.

Sam: I know. It’s all wrong. By rights we shouldn’t even be here. But we are. It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.
Frodo: What are we holding onto, Sam?
Sam: That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo… and it’s worth fighting for.

Frodo: “I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.”
Gandalf: “So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
