Author has written 5 stories for Starsky and Hutch.
I am a 'first generation' fan (so I suppose that gives away my age!). I live in Preston in England and have very happy memories of David appearing in my local theatre in 1978. I queued for hours to make sure I got a ticket. And was too shy to ask for an autograph with all the other girls at the end of the show! (How civilised it was! The show ended but David remained on stage signing autographs for all the girls who went down to the front. Not sure that would happen now.)
I have only recently come upon this wonderful website and am now addicted! Every time I log on it feels like when S&H first hit our screens...you know, the anticipation of a great story but not knowing where it's going to take you. So much drama, tension, heart-wrenching and heart-breaking, humour etc. Not sure what kind of story I like best...they're all good! There are some very talented authors out there, THANK YOU for sharing your talent with us and keeping our lovely boys 'alive' and forever in some sort of 1970's time-warp. Wish I had a small percentage of your talent and imagination.
I thought I'd better update this though there is not much more to add!
Last year I had the pleasure of seeing Paul appear in Fiddler on the Roof...what an amazing show! Paul was awesome of course but the whole cast were wonderful, so talented.
The other change is that much to my surprise I now find that I am a writer!! I have not written since I was at school so this is totally unexpected. The idea for my first story came to me almost fully formed and would not leave me alone until I had put it down on paper. It was only ever intended to be a one-off, get it out of my system so to speak. But I was asked for a sequel so I tried and suddenly I had 2 stories posted. At the time of this update I am working on a third story, much longer than and unconnected to the first two. It seems to have taken on a life of its own but I am determined to tame it and get it finished somehow. I will not be posting it until I am sure that the first draft is complete...don't you just hate it when you start to read a story and find it is not finished? I won't do that to you! Please be patient if you like my writing, this one is not flowing as smoothly as the others and I'll have a fair bit of editing to do I think!
Reviews are much appreciated (hint, hint!)...now that I am a writer I have realised how much we cherish reviews. It's so good to know that someone is reading and enjoying your work. Therefore if you have enjoyed something please drop a line. And if you didn't constructive criticism is welcome (though please be gentle with me...I'm a sensitive soul!)
Thank you for reading.
