Author has written 5 stories for Danny Phantom.

My name is Lauren and I'm double majoring Literature and Education. My username is a reference to my ability to never remember which words end in -ent and which ones ends in -ant without spellcheck. I promise it seemed witty at the time.

I won't list fandoms I'm into, reading or watching. The list would be very long and varied; and I don't write fic for everything I love due to time constraints. I also don't make lists of pairings I like/dislike. Every time I've thought a pairing could never work, good writers have proven me wrong. I do disapprove of ship wars, though. I consider fandom one big dysfunctional family and I'd never scare off a future friend by screaming 'canon couples only' or 'lets demonize one third of the love triangle unfairly'. I have too much self respect to talk to immature brats who'd rather demonize characters than write them IC. While we're listing things: I don't like incest fic but I will bash you for writing it. Slash, het and yuri are just falling in love, there's nothing wrong with that. I've been told the logical reasons for incest isn't so bad, and I consider myself open, but I simply can't handle how it's played as lighthearted by some people. There's fairytale romance and then there's the point where even CLAMP and TokyoPop writers would go 'this lacks realism'.

For some reason I like writing about minor characters and OCs. This frightens me on some level, as I don't want to write Mary Sues but I'm aware it's easier to do going that route. My hope is that with other writers giving me feedback I can become a better writer and produce some pieces people will enjoy. Feel free to leave me criticism, ideas, suggestions and point out what I've done wrong. PM me if you want, too, as I would love some fandom friends or even just different perspectives on fanfiction and writing in general.

I try to review whatever I read, but if you're in my fandom and you'd like to either recommend or maybe get a second opinion on a fanfc or fic idea, feel free to talk to me. I love these kind of nerdy conversations.

Story Status:

You And I: Top priority, updates as frequently as I can. I have a lot of ideas for this.

Writings Of The Lost Son: Second priority, but currently suffering from writer's block for this. Will not be abandoned.

Remade: Writing it as it comes to me, which is proving surprisingly easy. It's a mater of writing it clearly.

It's Complicated: On hiatus. I've lost my inspiration for this one while writing You And I.

Oneshots: Done. No exceptions.
