Hi! Hello! This is anad. If you want to know how my name's pronounced, it's a misspelled "and" haha.
My confession to you is that I am not a natural fanfiction writer. It's difficult for me to write using another person's characters and settings and plot points. And I also struggle with the distinct feeling that I'm letting the canon down. As if the canon were an actual person who is able to shake their head at me in complete disappointment.
But I like fanfiction. I've read so many wonderful fan-authored stories. And it's just amazing; I'm able to see just how much fans have loved a series or work in fanfiction. Not just the love of the authors writing the stories, but the love of the readers reading the stories. It's in your reviews, your favorites, your follows, in everything you do show your support. And even if you're the kind of fan who never reviews or favorites or follows, I know that your enjoyment of the story wasn't in any way less than that of someone who did. After all, you don't have to show how much you loved something to have loved it.
Therefore, I write each and every word here to be read by fans. Whether casual fan or the super fan who knows everything there is to know already (and maybe even some things that were left out), I always keep in mind that these are stories and characters and places already loved. Because you love them already, I try my best to handle your feelings with respect and care. It is, has always been, something I take to heart in my writing.
Though I may still be lacking, I promise never to give you anything but my best effort. I write so that you, the reader, have fun reading my story. And I truly hope that I have written something that you've enjoyed.
Lastly, because this profile has somehow become much too serious, here's a poem I wrote for everyone:
I like fanfiction!
