Author has written 9 stories for Stargate: SG-1.
I know this will come as a startling revelation, but I am a big fan of Stargate SG-1! :) Colonel Jack O'Neill is my favorite character . . . could have something to do with my love of Richard Dean Anderson. That said, it should probably come as no surprise that I must admit MacGyver is actually my top, all time favorite TV show (I have a Swiss Army Knife and a roll of duct tape to prove it). In fact I have another fanfiction account devoted entirely to the King of Improvisation. If you're interested I've attached these stories to my favorites list here for easy access.
Also, for anyone who is interested, I have a large collection of Stargate SG-1 photos on my Pinterest account. They're so many I've had to divide them onto several boards. There are Team photos, Promo shots, Behind the Scenes, Jack/Sam 'ship, Jack O'Neill, as well as a unique collections of SG-1 Quotes. Many of the quote "pins" are of my own creation (a photo-shop hobby of mine). Anyway, the links to my various SG-1 boards are at the bottom of this page if you're interested. Hope you enjoy! :)
Okay, so on to more important (albeit less obvious) matters.
Here are a few facts about me . . .
I'm a Christian first and foremost of the sold out, off the chart, Jesus freak variety.
My favorite scriptures are Ephesians 2:6 and 1 John 4:17.
I'm 24 years old (though most people say I look about 16:).
I'm half full-blooded Italian, half German-Scandinavian mess and all American.
I am a rescuer at heart and have five 'children' of the canine and feline persuasion to prove it. When it comes to animals I live by the motto 'there's always room for one more'.
I work full-time as a 9-1-1 telecommunicator (that's a fancy name for dispatcher/operator) and have a side job as a commissioned portrait artist.
I possess an insatiable interest in Law Enforcement - to the point that I have been known to call out "Look! a police car!" while traveling.
My favorite TV shows include Stargate SG-1, MacGyver, Adam-12, Dragnet, Perry Mason, and The A-Team.
My favorite movies include Star Wars, High School Musical 1 2 and 3, National Treasure 1 and 2, How To Drain Your Dragon, Disney's Pocahontas, and numerous flicks from way-back-in-the-day (as in black and white shows from the 1930s-1950s).
My taste in music is eclectic to say the least - I like everything from Handel's Messiah to Frankie Valley and the Four Seasons to Josh Turner.
My favorite Christian music artist is Carman and my favorite secular artist is Frank Sinatra.
My favorite composers are John Williams, Hans Zimmer, John Powell, and Alan Menken.
My favorite book is The Robe by Lloyd C. Douglas
I am currently teaching myself chemistry and have been known to dabble in self-taught dancing and choreography.
I enjoy singing, though never in public (my fans include only those of the four-footed variety and my ever loyal steering wheel).
I am fascinated by anything mysterious (codes, ciphers, puzzles, riddles, who-dun-its and the like).
I love turkey sandwiches and chocolate and try to consume at least one serving of each every day.
I have always loved writing and since the age of about eleven I have dabbled in fan-fiction. Aside from my sister, however, no one was ever allowed to read my work - I was always too scared to show it to anyone else. Thanks to this website, I have been able to change all that . . . well sort of. I still get really nervous when I post something new, but, at the same time, now I also get kind of excited. It still boggles my mind when I see that people from all over the world are reading my stories! It is such an awesome, unreal feeling.
As for everyone who has taken the time to review my work, you will never know how much it means to me! Every time I read or think about your reviews I find myself grinning from ear to ear. You are the smile on my face that my family just doesn't understand. Thank you so, so much! :)
One note quick note . . . some of the stories I have read and left reviews for contain profanity. As a Christian, I do not use nor condone the use of such language. In order to be able to read and enjoy these stories, therefore I have developed a system on my home computer that enables me to filter this content. I know this is a moot point for some, but for me it is quite important.
With that in mind, here's a note about my own personal stories . . . in my reality the characters of Stargate SG-1 simply don't use profanity at all (Jack included). Innocent substitutes such as dang, darn, heck, or shucks are allowed, but nothing stronger. Hey, I may not own the guys, but as long as they're at play in my mind I do have some control!
