Author has written 14 stories for Stargate: SG-1.
I know this will come as a startling revelation, but I am a big fan of Stargate SG-1! :) Colonel Jack O'Neill is my favorite character... could have something to do with my love of Richard Dean Anderson. That said, it should probably come as no surprise that I must admit MacGyver is actually my top, all time favorite TV show (I have a Swiss Army Knife, a roll of duct tape, and a Jeep to prove it). In fact I have another fanfiction account devoted entirely to the King of Improvisation. If you're interested I've attached these stories to my favorites list here for easy access.
Also, for anyone who is interested, I have a large collection of Stargate SG-1 photos on my Pinterest account. They're so many I've had to divide them onto several boards. There are Team photos, Promo shots, Behind the Scenes, Jack/Sam 'ship, Jack O'Neill, as well as a unique collections of SG-1 Quotes. Many of the quote "pins" are of my own creation (a photo-shop hobby of mine). I also created a storyboard for my SG-1 novel, "Expendable", with pictures of the cast, settings, and technology I used to create my storyworld. So, anyway, the link to my Pinterest homepage is at the bottom of my profile here if you're interested. Hope you enjoy! :)
Okay, so on to more important (albeit less obvious) matters.
Here are a few facts about me:
I'm a Christian first and foremost of the sold out, off the chart, Jesus freak variety. My dream is to write novels that glorify Him and show the world His love like they've never seen it before. Toward that end, I started using fanfiction as a way to hone my writing skills and learn the craft of story telling.
My favorite scriptures are Ephesians 2:6 and 1 John 4:17.
I'm 26 years old (though most people think I look about 16).
I'm half full-blooded Italian, half German-Scandinavian mess, and all American.
I am a rescuer at heart. My family and I have seven 'children' of the canine and feline persuasion to prove it. When it comes to animals I live by the motto 'there's always room for one more'.
I worked as a 9-1-1 dispatcher for a little over five years, before leaving to devote more time to my Lord, my family, and my writing - in that order.
I possess an insatiable interest in Law Enforcement - to the point that I have been known to call out "Look! a police car!" while traveling.
My favorite TV shows include Stargate SG-1, MacGyver, Adam-12, Maverick, Dragnet, Perry Mason, and The A-Team.
My favorite movies include Star Wars, High School Musical 1 2 and 3, National Treasure 1 and 2, Tangled, Disney's Pocahontas, and numerous flicks from way-back-in-the-day (as in black and white shows from the 1930s-1950s).
My taste in music is eclectic to say the least - I like everything from Handel's Messiah to Frankie Valley and the Four Seasons to Josh Turner.
My favorite Christian music artist is Carman and my favorite secular artist is Frank Sinatra.
My favorite composers are John Williams, Hans Zimmer, John Powell, and Alan Menken.
My favorite book is The Robe by Lloyd C. Douglas
I enjoy singing, though never in public (my fans include only those of the four-footed variety and my ever loyal steering wheel).
I am fascinated by anything mysterious (codes, ciphers, puzzles, riddles, who-dun-its and the like).
I love turkey sandwiches and chocolate and try to consume at least one serving of each every day.
And now, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has taken the time to review my work. Your support means so much! Every time I read or think about your reviews I find myself grinning from ear to ear. You are the smile on my face that my family just doesn't understand. :)
One quick note: some of the stories I have read and left reviews for here on FFN contain profanity. As a Christian, I do not use nor condone the use of such language. In order to be able to read and enjoy these stories, I have developed a system on my home computer that enables me to filter this content. I know for some this is a moot point, but for me it is quite important.
With that in mind, here's a note about my own personal stories: in my reality the characters of Stargate SG-1 simply don't use profanity at all (Jack included). Innocent substitutes such as dang, darn, heck, or shucks are allowed, but nothing stronger. Hey, I may not own the guys, but as long as they're at play in my mind I do have some control!
Here's the link to my Pinterest homepage. Just copy the address below into your web browser's search bar and replace the (dot)'s with periods and you should be good to go. The "Expendable" storyboard is near the top of my homepage while all of the other SG-1 boards are grouped together a little farther down. Hope you enjoy!
