The war ended in 1945. Harry married Ginny in 1952 and had three children. Faked his death in 1965. "Grim Fate" takes place in 1989-1990. Twenty years pass and "Grim Vengeance" starts in 2010. I hope you all continue to follow my stories. Updates will be sporadic for a while. OLD UPDATE 1/15/2022: I am back. I apologize for the lack of posts. I was dealing with a lot IRL. I went through a very rough pregnancy in 2017 and delivered in early 2018 while working a job I hated and was slowly killing me with stress, depression, and anxiety. I ended up having to go into the hospital early as the stress from the job made me have contractions almost a month ahead of my due date. I ended up with an urgent C-Section as my oxygen levels and blood pressure kept dropping and the baby's heartrate kept slowing when I would have a contraction. It was a very traumatic experience that took a lot of time to get over. I ended up resigning while on maternity leave when a coworker alerted me that my employer broke their agreement concerning my workload and was planning on not telling me until I returned. I was a stay at home mom for 6 months while dealing with severe postpartum depression. My laptop died during this time. My husband was gone a lot for work and I was basically on my own, far from family and friends with a newborn. We moved closer to family after I finally admitted that I couldn't live like that anymore. I got a job back home that I love. We found a house and moved in just before the pandemic hit. My husband was able to find a job in the area that he loves during the pandemic. (The first position he found was terrible but this one is a much better fit with more stable hours and pay and the ability to take off when needed without them trying to get him fired). We are expecting a second child in February (this will be our last as we now know that I may have postpartum again. We wanted a second child before our first was too much older). This pregnancy has not been as rough as my first but I am dealing with some health issues that are being addressed with a careful eye on my mental and emotional state. My current workplace has been very supportive and are willing to work with whatever I can do up to giving birth and then when I return fully from maternity leave, including reducing my workload and placing physical restrictions on what I am allowed to do. (They even just made me salary instead of hourly and gave me a rather great raise this year to help offset medical bills and childcare). I have been feeling better and had been wanting to write again. My husband got me a brand new laptop and told me to get started again as it made me happy. I logged into my old account today and just saw so many reviews and messages asking when I would be back, if I was going to continue, and if I was ok. Thank you. I needed that. I didn't realize that my silly little stories made so many people happy. I am slowly working my way through updating my stories. I have posted the next chapter to Grim Conclusions and am working on the next chapter to Memories Be Damned. I need to catch up with the Marvel Universe to see which way I want to go, but I have an extended holiday weekend and plan on watching a ton of movies while prepping for the baby. I will post when I can so there will not be a set schedule. Thank you for the years of support while I was dealing with life. NEW UPDATE: Hello all. I apologize once again for the lack of posts. I was working on my stories and life threw an unexpected curveball that has devastated me and my family. On February 17, 2022, I was going in for a checkup pending the arrival of our son who was due on February 22 via c-section. During this appointment, it was discovered that our son had unexpectedly passed away earlier in the week. I had been having increased contractions and had thought the contractions were actually him moving as I was almost to term and quite large in pregnancy even though I am a smaller person. I was rushed into a c-section later that afternoon as I was in danger of going septic or into labor. Our son was perfect but stillborn. We just finished arranging the funeral and will be burying our son soon. I am still in a lot of pain from surgery and the loss of our son. Until I have dealt with this loss. My stories are returning to hiatus but hopefully not for as long. Thank you for your understanding. For those who are new followers or just checking me out as a writer, I hope you enjoy what you find. My main goal is to entertain. Enjoy! |
