Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter.
I have been reading fanfiction for longer than I care to admit. Recently I've been inspired to start writing my own because I always end up frustrated with the stories I read as they never go how I want them too. How dare those authors write the story how they want it instead of how I want it! JK.
Fanfiction for me is a way to check out of my life and check into something that will make me happy. So in the long run I prefer to my stories to have a happy end. Why read about something that will leave me sad or angry in the long run? Not saying I wouldn't write a story that had some level of angst, or read stories that have a level of angst but I don't want it to fill the entire story, you know? Life is hard enough as it is so why add to it?
I've always shipped Hermione and Sirius hard, and lately Hermione and Charlie. I suppose I just like Hermione's character the best. She's everything I wish I could be, emphasis on the I wish I could be a witch part of that.
I'm currently in the process of outlining and creating a timeline for a Sirius and Hermione story. I also am writing a one shot of Charlie and Hermione so I'll be posting that soon. My 1,000 word one shot has gotten away from me and is probably going to end over 10,000 words. Not sure how that happened!
Oh and in case you didn't catch that new story on ABC World News on 2-3, JK Rowling FINALLY ADMITTED that her canon pairings would have resulted in marriage counselling because they weren't good matches!!!! I feel so vindicated for hating the canon pairings!!
