Author has written 10 stories for Rise of the Guardians, Teen Titans, Wicked, Misc. Tv Shows, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Fault in Our Stars, Maleficent, and Transformers.
Let's get started, dear readers.
I discovered this site way back in June or July of 2012. Nearly five years ago, I was a beginner at writing, and had just recently been exposed to the internet.
That's putting it nicely.
If I'm to be 100% honest, I was a geeky, friendless, pretentious eleven year old who thought I was hot shit. I found a way to post my stories online, and proceeded to unleash my creative wrath upon any poor fandom that caught my fancy.
Looking back now, from the January 8th, 2017 persepective, I cannot do anything but weep for the unfortunate souls who endured my grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
The reason I haven't deleted these atrocities is because I want them to be a lesson. In five years I've improved my prose drastically. At least, I very much hope so! Rereading these stories, written by a sad, shy girl in her room, brings a smile to my face. At this point in my life, I'm happy, I dare to call myself popular, and yes, I'm still writing stories.
I will no longer be writing on Fanfiction.net. I want to get in touch with some old friends before saying goodbye forever to this site which was once so dear to me. It's the abyss now, darlings. I'll leave this profile up, so if someone ever thinks, "hey, what happened to catlover1177 from a few years ago who wrote the Transformers Bumblebee x OC fic?" their question may be answered.
You can find me over at AO3 under the name WhirlyBot. I don't write for any of the fandoms I wrote for on here. A lot changes in five years, as you can imagine.
I doubt anyone will see this, but somehow it didn't feel right to leave without a proper goodbye. Good memories and nightmares, my friends.
I hope that one day, you'll see my name on the spine of a hardcover, proudly displayed on the shelf of Barnes and Noble's Hot New Bestsellers.
Never stop writing.
