Hi. I'm Lily, but my 168 tumblr followers call me awkward-yet-nice.

I am incredibly awkward, a Johnlocker, a centurion in the fight of worlds.
I like my angst served superpicante.
Some of this is fanfiction, some is poetry. I hope you'll enjoy my work, and remember, life is no cabaret.
I have been mourning Fiyero's death for 148 days.

Fandoms: Sherlock, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Fringe, Criminal Minds, TMI, Lemony Snicket, Glee, Torchwood, Harry Potter, Divergent, THG, Harold and Maude, Wicked, Chicago, The Little Mermaid, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast
(Damn Straight I'm in the Disney Princess fandom-- I mean, don't you just love princess Castiel?)
(The ones I've written fics for are bold)

I'm a proud supporter of TWLOHA (To Write Love On Her Arms)

Works In Progress:

Flowers For Deduction- I apologise for the horrible title. Flowers For Algernon/ BBC Sherlock crossover in which there is some background on how Sherlock became a genius. New formatting style, and it's improved. ANGSTYANGSTYSUPERPICANTEANGSTY.

I'm trying to get some Destiel together. I just need to know how I want to write Castiel. It's hard to write for different characters than the ones in your niche.

Completed Works:

Lost- A Doctor Who inspired poem. Lovely, really.

Shut Up, John- Johnlock... Angsty and a little bit cute, involves a drunk Sherlock and a sober John, LOTS OF FUN! (okay so the formatting is bad... it was my first fic okay)

Quotes that I've accumulated:

"Everyone has the right to make an ass out of themselves, you can't let the world judge you too much" -Maude, 'Harold and Maude'

"Voldemort don't need no plate. He eats where he wants. You are what you eat, so Voldemort's A FREAKING UNICORN." -My friend Hannah, who is Super Mega Foxy Awesome Hot.

"I lit up like a Christmas Tree, Hazel Grace." John Green, The Fault In Our Stars HAHAHAHAH ARE YOU CRYING YET

"Can I borrow your underwear for, like, ten minutes?" Farmer Ted, Sixteen Candles

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it." Ferris Bueller, Ferris Bueller's Day Off

"How could I possibly be expected to handle school on a day like this?" Ferris Bueller, Ferris Bueller's Day Off

"Nobody puts baby in the corner!" Johnny Castle, Dirty Dancing

"I told you I was telling the truth, Daddy. I'm sorry I lied to you, but you lied too. You told me everyone was alike and deserved a fair break. But you meant everyone who was like you. You told me you wanted me to change the world, to make it better. But you meant by becoming a lawyer or an economist and marrying someone from Harvard. I'm not proud of myself, but I'm in this family too. You can't keep giving me the silent treatment. There are a lot of things about me that aren't what you thought. But if you love me, you have to love all the things about me, and I love you. I'm sorry I let you down; I'm so sorry, Daddy. But you let me down too." Frances 'Baby' Houseman, Dirty Dancing

"Amazing, though, don’t you think? The Starwhale. All that pain and misery… and loneliness… and it just made it kind. … But I’ve seen it before. Very old and very kind, and the very, very last — sound a bit familiar?" Amelia Jessica Pond, Doctor Who

"You know when sometimes you meet someone so beautiful and then you actually talk to them and five minutes later they're as dull as a brick? Then there's other people, when you meet them you think, "Not bad. They're okay." And then you get to know them and... and their face just sort of becomes them. Like their personality's written all over it. And they just turn into something so beautiful." Amelia Jessica Pond, Doctor Who

"You can spend the rest of your life with me, but I can't spend the rest of mine with you. I have to live on. Alone. That's the curse of the Time Lords." The Doctor, Doctor Who

"The venn-diagram of guys who don't like smart girls and guys you don't want to date is a circle." John Green

Castiel is Ariel. Ariel is Castiel. Carry on, my wayward sons.

Linter Status:
(Kso my friends wanted me to do a "Linter Status update" So I'm just going to list the different interactions he and I have had.)

  • He texted me first a few times
  • We talk about videogames, books, society et cetera regularly
  • We agreed to hang out and not dance at the school dance soyeahcoolbeans (UPDATE: It was fun and we talked the whole time. We didn't dance or anything, but it was awesome.)
  • I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm chronically red in the face, but no it's just him. Oops!
  • Linter is canon!

  • I don't usually do these, but I thought "Why Not?" and couldn't come up with any reasons, so here goes nothing:

    ARE YOU?
    1. Perfect? I think so.
    2. Tall? Quite.
    3. In your pajamas? What kind of question is that? Nuh, I'm not.
    4. Left handed? Does ambidextrous count?

    1. Friend you saw: Harrison
    2. Person to text you: Hunter
    3. Was today better than yesterday? Yep. The boy with whom I am smitten spoke to me, so...

    1. Number: 24601
    2. Color(s): Blue, Green, Purple, and Red (I thought about saying "All the colours of the wind", but I never much liked Pocahontas)
    3. Fruit: Bananas. I always take them to parties.
    4. Place: Wherever my Prince Eric is.

    1. Are you missing someone right now? So much.
    2. Are you happy? I'm super happy. I have friends and a family who all love me!
    3. Are you sad? Not at all.
    4. Are you bored? Isn't that why I'm filling this out?
    6. Are you nervous? Always.
    8. Are you tired? Never.

    2. Nick names: Lily, Ariel, Pond, Dalek (I've got the best nicknames, I tell you)
    3. Eye color? Hazel-ish? Some days my eyes are more green than brown, and vice-versa.
    4. Zodiac sign? Pisces
    5. Male or female? Female
    6. Slut? Well, think Mormon Librarian. No, I'm not a slut.
    7. Smart? I like to think so.
    8. Hair color? Light brown-ish but a little ginger-ish
    9. Long or short? In-between
    10. Sweats or Jeans? Jeans
    11. Phone or Camera? I could not care less, it's about the memories, not the medium.
    12. Drink or Smoke? No way! Nice girls don't worry themselves with underage drinking/smoking!
    13. Righty or lefty? Yes? I use both...

    1. First best friend? Harrison
    2. First crush? Harrison
    3. First pet? A cat named Max.
    4. First big vacation? Disney World, 2008 (I had the time of my life. I even met Ariel! *fangirling noises*)

    1. Eating? Spiderman fruit snacks
    2. Drinking? Nothing
    3. I'm about to: Go to my fourth period class...
    4. Listening to?If Only from The Little Mermaid
    5. Plans for the day? Youth Group!

    1. Shorter or taller? Taller
    2. Romantic or spontaneous? Spontaneous. I can't handle romance.
    3. Sensitive or loud? Neither? I guess if I had to choose, sensitive, because our loudness might clash.
    4. Hook-up or relationship? Relationship. That is a stupid question.

    1. Drank bubbles? Oh my childhood...YES.
    2. Lost glasses/contacts? Nope
    3. Ran away from home? When I was 8 or 9 I did it every weekend.
    4. Broken someone's heart? Well in first grade when I moved, Harrison was pretty crushed, but his heart is certainly not broken. I talk to him now, and he has the biggest heart. He will make a girl very happy someday.
    5. Been arrested? Most certainly not!

    Personal Mission Statement

The writing of my original mission statement—to me—was anti-climactic and disappointing. As my favourite author once wrote, “My thoughts are stars I can’t fathom into constellations.” I quickly learned that it wasn’t just the constellations that I was dealing with; it was the unending universe—filled with ideas and philosophies and constantly expanding.

Somehow, through a plethora of coffee rings and torn pages, I managed to see my little infinity as what it truly was—it was me. A definition of myself, as crazy and unimaginable as it seemed while written as a bulleted list.

Though a blank page can be intimidating, I started over and found the real meaning behind my words.

It is with great pleasure that I bring you my mission statement.

It is important for me to remember myself at this age, as my life has been so drastically changed this year. I will always remember the decisions I’ve made, and the ones I didn't make, all of which led up to the version of myself that I have become. I’m not saying it’s positive or negative, it’s simply a reminder of who I am and how non-negotiably important that is.
My past forces me, beyond all complaint, to notice the fragility of life itself, and how incredibly easy it is to soil it; to crush it in the mud and grime of sin and lawlessness, and impatience for its end. Also, how incredibly valuable it is.
Life is a stained glass window of memories, wants, and worries, creating panes upon panes of examples for future generations; panes of mothers cooing to their children, “look both ways” and “don’t talk to strangers” and “excel in school”. I want to live my life as a very long advice column for those who struggle with depression and self-loathing, and even those who don’t; for the girls who let social anxiety run their life; for the girls who don’t care about brand-names and money and popularity; for the girls who like video games and maths and science.
I want to write books that feel real and are full of life lessons like the ones by John Green that changed my life so drastically by steering me away from the path of vapidity and incompetence down which I was previously barrelling.
I want to just keep going, whether that means I go to college immediately after high school or not.
I want to remind everyone around me of the importance of their lives and how amazing their impact can be if they never give up on themselves.
In a way, that’s what we must do; as the American people; as the generation of tomorrow—we have to keep going. We have to keep the American dream close to our hearts, even as it slips farther and farther away.
I want to keep expanding my mind by reading and watching the world around me; like George Santyana once said, “Those who ignore history are bound to repeat it,” and with that quote I want to correct the world’s mistakes.
I want to fall in love with someone who can understand what I mean when I say that I want to leave my handprint on the world, and to change the lives of people like me; someone smart and kind who can understand me as their equal; who can love God more than they love me.
I won’t give my heart up to the deft claws of time, and remember to live my life without petty things like regret.
I will complete high school, and go to college to study psychology, simply because I am fascinated by how the human brain works, and the tiny cues that can cause people to behave and think certain ways. I will use my degree for whatever employment path I pursue—whether I am working with violent criminals or civilians.

I won’t always live up to others’ expectations, but that’s okay, as long as I'm staying true to myself. Being myself is the one thing I will always have, because money and force can’t take it away.

So there you have it; my little infinity forced into cosmic shapes, then grouped into galaxies of dreams, madcap ramblings… cabbages and kings.

One day we will graduate to higher things; we will become more than just jocks, preps, freaks, and geeks.
We’ll be real people in a real world, and hey- maybe we’ll even find a real use for algebra.

The point is, we are more than this. We are more than now. Our lives, from this point on, are ours for the choosing.

    Good luck.
