Author has written 64 stories for Battle of the Planets, Full House, Big Bang Theory, Star Wars, M*A*S*H, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, and Supernatural.
I started creating fanfiction in my head when I was nine, long before I knew there was a name for what I was doing. My stories were all centered around Jason from Battle of the Planets because I just knew something was seriously wrong with him after "Strike at Spectra.” (Only later did I find the original anime Gatchaman, where I learned that Jason’s Japanese counterpart Joe had *died.* This was not a happy moment in my life. Even when I found out Joe was resurrected as a cyborg.) About 20 years ago (I feel old now), I started writing down my stories in reaction to the stress of starting graduate school. Most of my BotP stories are posted at the Gatchaman Fanfic Archive.
I never intended to join any other fandoms, but somehow after landing here, I started dabbling in a little bit of everything: Full House and The Big Bang Theory fanfiction, a Wings story that I never quite committed to paper, a M*A*S*H fic to explain a plot gap. My second major fandom is Star Wars, the original trilogy. I love the dynamic between Luke, Leia, and Han.
I tend to write fanfiction in bursts - usually when I'm under a lot of stress and should be doing something else. It's a nice form of escape. I primarily write hurt/comfort and angst. I gravitate toward giving my characters vision problems, or further explaining problems they seem to have in canon.
My interest in all things eye led me to reading CSI: Miami fanfic centered around the episode "Nailed." I don't quite know what happened, but reading CSIM fanfiction led to me watching the show. I started in the middle of season 4 and somehow, I not only watched the whole series, I watched all of CSI: New York, too! I just had to do a crossover for Ryan and Danny - I think the two could have been good friends.
After that, I added Supernatural to the mix. Once again, this was a show I started watching because I liked the fanfic I read here first. So, if you like any of my Supernatural stories, thank yourself because your work might have inspired it! :) I think it's interesting that the characters of Sam and Dean were based in part off of Luke and Han from Star Wars. Obviously, I like the brotherly dynamics of both.
I hope you enjoy my stories. :) My apologies for those pieces that are unfinished. Usually, they vexed me in some way and I got stuck.
