Well... Hello Fanfiction community!
So. I'd better tell you about me, huh? Wow. Let me simply jump in, because I'm not very good at opening statements, but I am very good at rambling!
My fanfic preferences tend to lean towards ones following the characters' lives behind the screen, lives not necessarily seen onscreen. I'm not a fan of ones which are simply episodes - but I don't discourage writing those! Keep on writing, following your passions. I know what that's like.
I'm not exactly sure what I write... I just tend to write. If you don't like what I write and think to flame me, I will send telepathic 90s movie and TV show quotes in your general direction mercilessly. Just a warning. You won't enjoy it, I'm sure. :) OK, sorry; I actually don't know. Please don't flame me, my telepathy might go awry and... that could be bad...
I am extremely self-conscious. Instead of filling my author's notes section of my stories with "I'm sorry, I hate this scene and this scene and this scene but I can't make it sound any better..." I'll just say it now. There will be scenes in my stories that I despise, but I can't fix. So don't go thinking some of the sucky scenes are scenes I spent hours trying to get right and I finally decided it was the best thing I've ever written! No, I hate some of those as much as you do. Don't flame specific scenes, please; my modesty can't take it :blush:
I discovered fanfiction.net during my bout of massive Animaniacs obsession. So... Expect me to fill my Favorites with Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain for a while until I finally move on.
ahem* I've moved on! But I really love the Animaniacs fandom, it set my standards so, so high... Taught me a lot about how ff.net should work, how the users interact and all the different genres we can twist characters seamlessly into. It will remain my favorite community for a lifetime (although the one Pinky Elmyra and the Brain community I've found was very sweet as well, teehee...), but I am (strangely) moving on.
If there's anything else you really really REALLY want to know about me (favorite whatever, least favorite whatever [like characters, colors, foods, episodes...]), just let me know and I'll probably stick it here. :) I love to chat and I love getting replies and having intelligent conversations with people who are also madly obsessed with things, so don't be scared to PM me! I'm used to and encourage raving insanity (but I can't stand punctuation errors! Gr! But I won't kill you for them if they slip in here and there...), so... yeah. I hope I meet some new friends here and gain confidence from them so I can maybe post some stories without being all "Omygoooosh what have I done?!?!"... or perhaps just gain some dear friends. Gahhhh listening to Rob Paulsen's podcast makes me get weird and sappy. But I mean it; I love you all :)
My current obsession: Taz-Mania, Monsters University (I'm just SO excited!), Garfield (the comics!),
Milder current obsessions: Pinky and the Brain, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Who Censored Roger Rabbit? (that's the original novel version! Haha!), This Is Not a Game (It's some book that managed to squeeze in about ten references and mentions of the one character's Pinky and the Brain dolls, Brain-voiced computer, and Pinky and the Brain screensaver. His buddy even eventually named her phone Brain after him, and they ask The Question all the time... Geez, check it out. It's too awesome), WordGirl, Wild Kratts, Clifford the Big Red Dog,
Past Obsessions: Pinky Elmyra and the BrainThe TickDarkwing Duck; Star Wars; Voyagers; The Dick Van Dyke Show; MST3K;
I hope to enjoy my time here, make some friends, and eventually upload some stories! Au revoir!
