Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter, and Naruto.
Christ Jesus died for all of us. We all have sinned and deserved to suffer the punishment of death and Hell, but Christ suffered the punishment for us. So stop being unreasonable and saying that it's not fair the only way to heaven is through belief in Christ Jesus as our Savior. That's as asinine as saying it's not fair that someone drowns because they refuse to grab on to a life preserver someone throws their way. Indeed, that doesn't even cover it. Throwing a life preserver doesn't involve suffering unimaginable pain for every single wrong the drowning person committed in their life.
I thought I'd take some space to explain some of the quirks of my writing style, even though it might possibly cost me some reviews asking why. I use honorifics because they can convey a lot about the character dynamics.
As for why I may sometimes use Chinese words I'm place of Japanese, there are two reasons. One reason is that I know Chinese pretty well. But the main reason is that I am going back to Akira Toriyama's inspiration for Dragon Ball; Journey to the West, which is one of the treasures of Chinese culture. This is a centerpiece to my plans of making Tien the hero in this story. Like many of you Dragon Ball fans, I feel like Tien (among other human characters) got unfairly sidelined in DBZ, especially since Tien is what I like to call 'ultra-canon'. There are arguments fought with religious fervor about what is and isn't canon. In general, I am of the opinion that anything produced by those who hold the rights to a franchise is canon. If something is absolutely contradictory to Toriyama's work, I'll file it into an alternate timeline. Doesn't that simplify things? Let's take GT for example. Although for a while I was of the opinion that people were being irrational in saying that it wasn't canon. But after Battle of the Gods, I have to agree. I mean, the Pilaf Gang shouldn't have even been able to reach Korin's Tower, let alone The Lookout. So from Episode 1 the whole thing contradicts the rules of the Dragon Ball universe. But that doesn't stop me from being a fan of some of the concepts like Super Saiyan IV, some of the characters encountered during the Grand Tour, and who doesn't think that the Shadow Dragons were a great idea (albeit perhaps done poorly)?
Unfortunately I realized that Dragon Ball doesn't have much of a plot for me to make a fanfic for. I guess I can get around to making a one-shot or short series, but they wouldn't be that much fun to write. So I started to write a Naruto fanfic with a few touches of Dragon Ball thrown in. I'll put what I have up and if it gets enough reviews I'll make an effort to continue on.
While writing my Naruto fic, I started to read Harry Potter fanfiction. But because of the disturbing popularity of slash in that fandom, I felt a calling to write a Christian-friendly Harry Potter fanfic, so that's my current priority.
