Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter.
This is my new profile. I read it through again and realized all the unnecessary tripe it had. So, without further ado...I present a written portrait of myself. Hopefully it won't bore you to tears.
I'm a happily married woman who works at a library and absolutely loves it. I'm a die-hard tomboy, always will be. That means that yes, I can do a regular maintenance on a vehicle or some other such activity and not whine about breaking one of my nonexistent nails. Dirt and grime does not bother me. Just ask my family and friends.
My hobbies include reading, writing, trying to improve my drawing, watching movies and every so often a good show on the rare times I have cable, spending time with my amazing husband, my wonderfully dysfunctional family whom I adore even when they drive me insane, spending quality time with all my friends, even the ones I can only reach online every so often. I'm an outdoorsy kinda person, so I love camping, bike riding, horseback riding, you know, pretty much the whole shebang. But I am by no means an athletic person. While everyone else was getting pumped up for the game, I spent my time in my own world or studying to pass the class.
Let's see if I can round up all my favs for your reading pleasure.
A note about all my stories, in them, when there's an OC you haven't met till now, they will be as developed as I can manage, I really can't stand Mary Sues or Gary Stues(however people spell it), the ones I've seen anyway. No, my characters are pretty much like sister/best friend/cousin/brother/uncle/insert other kind of male type figures, so don't worry, I'm not into the whole sappy romance type thing, no offense to those that are, but I just cringe when I come upon something like that. So I do my best to actually develop my characters before I introduce them to the different realms I place them in. Hopefully they're up to scratch.
Here are some quotes that I have enjoyed, this isn't the full list because you would be here forever if I subjected you to that kind of torture. Yes, you've probably heard most if not all of them before, I've just compiled them.
Weird is good, strange is bad, and odd is when you don't know what to call someone. Weird is the same as different, which is the same as unique so weird is good.
Knowledge is power, power corrupts, study hard, be evil.
Stand up for what you believe in, even if it means standing alone. (Something I was used to during my childhood, cursed school)
A real friend is someone who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.
If it's green, it's biology. If it stinks, it's chemisty. If it has numbers, it's math. If it doesn't work, it's technology.
Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, professionals built the Titanic.
I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.
You are the proof that God has a sense of humor.
"Reality is for people who lack imagination."
