Obstacle after obstacle is thrown in Harry’s way, with only his master, Rowena Ravenclaw, to help him. Some of the obstacles, he jumps over neatly, some of them make him stumble, and even fall. How many obstacles can he overcome before he doesn’t get up again? Follow Harry as he is forced to make impossible choices; choices that will punish him, no matter what he does or wants.

Everyone knows that wizarding children often take on an aspect of magic during their childhood. Innate specialties. Children of quidditch players might be able to fly without a broom for a time, those raised by fisherman might be able to manipulate water with great ease. I wrote this partially as a challenge to myself, and simply because I wanted to read it and didn't find any stories like it. a Daphne/Harry fic that strives to keep the characters in line with the books, with NO Weasley bashing, but still took an interest in the what if of unexplored relationships. all with a goal of still arriving at the epilogue.
