"Oh hey ColorCoated, it looks like all your stories are ROMY stories?"
I love Remy and Rogue together. They make me happy so that's what I write. I may venture away from them sometime, because I have a soft spot for Kitty and Piotr also, but I'm not there yet.
That and like most other closet fan-girls, I love Remy LeBeau with all of my faux Southern heart.
I write romance and humor. Why? Because it's easiest for me to do so. That and I love to read bad, smutty romance novels. I don't like to admit it because it's pretty embarrassing, so why not write what I like to read? I also love to read action stories, but they're impossible for me to write. Maybe one day ;-). Don't worry though, just because I tend to write smutty stories doesn't mean my mind is in the gutter all the time. It's not. Really, I promise.
I'm trying my hand at the drama genre though, and that's where Turing Point comes in. That sucker still has a way to go, though. Who knew trying to write something so dramatic would take so much time?
That's about it. Sometimes I'm slow to respond to PMs, but I love them. Send 'em my way.
Flying South Trilogy
Due to the influx of comments and PMs about my older story Ace of Hearts, I decided to clear a few things up here.
The story has been 1-2 chapters away from being finished for a long time. I do think its a shame when stories are left hanging so I plan to finish it sometime, I'm just not sure when, whenever I find the inspiration or time, I suppose.
Also, people seem to be saying two things about Ace of Hearts, or lamenting about them really. People have mentioned that its riddled with typographical errors and that its just an excuse for me to write smut/or that there is little actually storyline.
For the first point, I have to apologize. I'm sure there's an abundance of typos. When I started writing the story, I was looking for a fun way to use my time, and I just started writing. I didn't spend nearly any time proof reading, and for that I am sorry. After I started writing this story, I started reading a lot more fanfiction, and I know how hard it can be to read something with typos. If I ever have the time, I may go back an edit it, but extra time is something I have very little of. I've learned from this, though, and now try to throughly proof my stories before posting.
For those who think this story is just an excuse to write smut? I can't apologize for that, because that's exactly what it is. Its easy and quick and fun to write; so why not do so? Some people like to read stuff like that. I mean, some people check out cheesey romance books from the library. I'm just one of those people.
If you don't like to read stories like that, then don't. If you're personally upset that I write stories like that? Well, I don't always and I can direct you to one story of mine that has a plot line and is a lot less smutty. I expect you to review it, too ;-).
