Hello! Alexandria Keating here! I appreciate you coming to spend a few minutes of your life to read this!
I decided to join, after much thought and pondering, because I do hope to become a writer and this will allow me to write about all my thoughts and woulda, coulda, shouldas with movies, shows or books that I adore while getting feedback from a wider audience than family and friends. I do welcome all criticism. I especially love constructive criticism.
I'm on Tumblr:
A little about myself:
Well, I’m a Sherlockian. And a Whovian. I love Merlin and The Big Four. I love Disney and Pixar and DreamWorks. Musicals and classic literature (modern as well). But, nothing can exceed my love for Peter Pan.
Obviously I thoroughly enjoy writing, or else I wouldn't be doing this! I've been writing since I was nine-ish. That's a long time. Most of my life has been spent working out this craft.
I have been involved with Choir since I was nine, but singing long before that. However, my first year at college saw me dropping it as a class because my schedule doesn't allow it.
I was involved with Theatre here and there up until high school where I found myself thrown into it. I spent all four years in it and made the top acting class two years in a row. I’ve been in a couple shows, and I’ve been the head of makeup for them as well. Though I love acting, I hope to one day be the scriptwriter more than the actor.
I draw—well, doodle. If I sit down with the intent of drawing something it looks like crap, but if I just sit and doodle and experiment it comes out halfway decent. Never anything fancy, just pencil and paper. I recently started coloring—never really been a fan of coloring my stuff.
I took ballet and tap when I was seven/eight—wish I had kept with ballet now and again. I don’t really dance now except on my own in my room or when I’m alone in the house—and never at any school dance (if I miraculously go to one) because that isn’t dancing in my opinion, that’s trying to have sex with your clothes on. I wouldn’t say I’m horrible, but I’m definitely not exceptional. I can pick up choreography quickly.
I love snuggling up on a cold day with either a wonderful book (new or old) or a well loved movie or TV series.
I love fall and winter, the colors and the snow are wonderful! I’m not the biggest fan of heat, but I like the sun.
Inspiration hits me in the most random moments of my life, and though it’s great, it gets real annoying real fast.
ShawolAngel94 is a very good friend of mine outside this little world.
