Author has written 2 stories for Mortal Instruments, and Hunger Games.

There is nothing like putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and just writing. There is so much potential--you control the way that everything turns out. Still, I love when a story turns around, looks you in the eye, and tells you that you don't have control anymore and writes itself. You know that you're in the zone when the story starts to surprise you.

Anyway, that's my short little inspiration blurb.

I'm 18 and all I want to do is write. I've been told that it's not practical, and asked why I don't want to do something that will actually pay the bills, but I'm a stubborn one (unfortunately). So this is what I'm doing. Criticism and praise are both welcomed and appreciated. As much as I love hearing that someone enjoyed my story, I like to grow as a writer too. Also, rejection, I'm told, is a key part to the writing lifestyle. I suppose I should get used to it now.

I hope that you enjoy my stories and appreciate anything you do to help me be and become a better writer!

"A deep-rooted sense of foreboding came over me, but my shaky hands continued to open the thoroughly examined envelop. As I pulled the letter out, several pictures fell out slowly, drifting to the floor casually, as if they were teasing me. They all landed face down. I reached down to pick them, almost unconsciously, and let out a strangled cry as my blood ran cold at the betrayal"
