So much of the show focuses on Kate's trust issues, so this story explores Castle's trust issues, using the lie she told about the Christmas Eve shift as a launching point. This story really delves into the topic and can be angsty at times, but always with a happy ending. COMPLETE.

Detective Kate Beckett is 37 weeks pregnant. She is following a bunch of bad guys, when her labor starts early. She's all alone and nobody knows she's out, not even her husband Castle. Will they find her in time and what will happen next. A story about Caskett and the birth and first year of their lovechild.

"What? Nobody has kissed you on New Year's Eve? In how long? Come on, you can't expect me to believe that," she demands from Castle who is smiling at her... A story of magic of New Year's Eve. Kisses all around!
