Author has written 17 stories for Inuyasha, Star Wars, Criminal Minds, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Star Wars.
'Twixt madness and fairyland, 'tis my favorite path to tread and the journey has led me here, to ff.net. At the moment I'm mostly writing Star Wars stories, but when inspiration strikes I cross that galaxy far, far away and take a leap down the rabbit's hole.
I am very eclectic in my tastes, so I am open to reading anything, as long as it's well written with a great plot. I do have a taste for AUs, but I deeply admire those authors who can let their imaginations run wild and still stay within the canon frame. Kudos!
I'm open to any promps or suggestions people want to throw my way. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to pairings, as long as they're believable. After all, this is fanfiction and the world of writing is an oyster. As an added bonus and to say thank you, the first person to review a new story gets a special treat from me.
Darth Real Life has taken a real shine to me, as of late. To all my wonderful reviewers, I extend my deepest apologies for being so kriffing slow in responding. Your constant encouragements are a real balm to my stressful days and I promise, later or latest, I'll get around to answering all your reviews.
In case anyone's missed the big, red Santas appearing on every corner, the holidays are coming. Yay! I'm spending the merry season with family, which means I'll also be taking a short hiatus, beginning December 20th. Updates to Wastelands will resume the first Wednesday of the new year. Until then, I wish you all Happy Holidays! And a great start into 2016!
I'm deeply involved at the moment with The Mockingbird Series; a Star Wars production that has taken on a lengthy - and slightly frightening - life of its own. Other, still on-going projects, include Shreds and Ribbons, but my zany cast of OCs insist on taking my time at blaster and lightsaber point, so updates to all other stories will be irregular at best. For - or against - my own sanity, though, other projects are still in the making and will, hopefully, see the light of ff.net in some far, far away future.
For all of you lovely readers interested, below you can find the planned, chronological order for The Mockingbird Series. As much of this is still largely baking away in the dysfunctional oven that is my mind, this list is subject to capricious change. Beware and enjoy:
On Wings of Silver and Lead: Complete. Mockingbird prequel. Detailing the early days of my OCs, Garett and Roweena Arhen and ARC trooper Alpha-20. Begins with Ro's birth and ends at the Battle of Geonosis.
Interludes on Ansion: On-going. Mockingbird prequel. A vignette series following Ro's path to becoming a Jedi investigator under the guidance of Shiv Sanarl and his wife, Eda Ikuzu. Set one year before the Battle of Geonosis and progresses from there. Updates will be sporadic.
Call of the Mockingbird: Complete. First full-length story in The Mockingbird Series. Details the first time my main OCs, Roweena Arhen and clone trooper Wren cross paths.
Mockingbird: Wastelands: On-going. It's finally here! Updates will be every Wednesday. Second in The Mockingbird Series. Takes place three months after the events of Call. Duty and ambition lead Ro and Wren deep behind Separatist lines, to face spies, traitors and their own worst enemies.
Mockingbird: Evanesce: Planned. Co-written with the wonderful Sildae. Picking up where the Kadavo-arc left off. Will feature Rex and Ahsoka.
Mockingbird: Underheart: Planned. Ro and Wren delve into the darkness that is Coruscant's Underworld.
Mockingbird in the Blue: Planned. Another collab between myself and Sildae. Looking for the lost crew of the Renown, Ro and Wren cross paths with Fives.
Mockingbird Amongst the Shadows: Planned. Co-written with the incredible laloga. Ro and Wren encounter the members of Shadow Squad, as their newest mission hits too close to home.
Thus Sings the Mockingbird: Planned. Ro and Wren travel to Mandalore.
Mockingbird: Stalwart Hearts: Planned. Ro and Wren fly off to Sarrish, where Garett and Blazer Corps are ankle-deep in a bloody and endless battle against the Separatist forces. Old bonds and new are tested beneath the roiling thunder of the cannons.
Mockingbird on Winds Past: Planned. Second collab with laloga. Features some of her OCs from Trials: Wild Blue Yonder.
Mockingbird at the Edge of Night: Planned. The final chapter in The Mockingbird Series. Once more co-written with spikala.
Other stories connected to The Mockingbird Series are:
Stalwart Wings: On-going. Postings whenever Darth Real Life isn't choking the life out of me. A vignette series detailing the life of my OCs, Clone Commander Gaff, Jedi Knight Garett Arhen and their 49th Blazer Corps after the events of Call.
To Share a Sky: On-going. Postings: see Darth Real Life note above. A vignette series following Ro and Wren as they learn to work together. Set after the events of Call.
