Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter, and Skins.
Hi! I'm Sophia, and I love writing, drawing, singing, playing guitar, playing piano, drumming, dancing, acting, and reading! I especially love Harry Potter, Celtic mythology/astrology, and Shakespeare. I'm a big fan of stories about the next generation of Harry Potter, and I adore the pairings of:
Rose/Scorpius (they're just so perfect!)
And in my own little world, I like to think that Katie Bell and Oliver wood married, and that Neville and Hannah had two kids named Frank and Alice. For the purposes of my story "Lily Potter and the Skeleton Key", Scorpius has a younger brother named Cepheus, but he's not really main character, more of a random antagonist.
Personally, I don't have any idea why, I can't stand the idea of Albus being in Slytherin. To me, he's such a Gryffindor, or even maybe a Ravenclaw if Rose and Scorp are, too. (even though we only meet him for like two seconds in the epilogue haha). I feel like Scorpius would be in Gryffindor as well, or Ravenclaw, if Rose and Albus are there.
In my head, most of the Potter-Weasleys would be Gryffindors (cliche, I know), with the exceptions being: Victoire- Hufflepuff, Rose- Ravenclaw (sometimes), Lily- Ravenclaw (sometimes, but for the purpose of "Lily Potter and the Skeleton Key", she's a Gryffindor.) Al- Ravenclaw (sometimes), Louis- Hufflepuff, and Teddy- Hufflepuff (maaaaaaybe. I'm on the fence about this one.). I also think that either Molly II or Lucy would be Ravenclaw. I know, I know, I didn't put any of them in Slytherin. But Slytherin still sort of gives me the creeps. Every once in a while, I come across a really good story where Lucy or maybe Roxanne is a Slytherin, but I find those to be rare and far between. In my own little brain-created Harry Potter world, Al is never a Slytherin and neither is Lily.
For some reason, Hermione/Draco stories really give me a weird feeling, I'm not totally sure why, but who knows, maybe someday I'll fall in love with it!
For some odd reason, half of me totally ships Scorpius and Rose and I adore Scorpius and Rose stories, while the other half of me ships Rose and another girl (I read a really sweet story about Rose and an OC that like melted my heart).
My favorite Shakespearean characters are Beatrice, Viola, Puck, Helena, and Benedick. There are a few other various characters, I just can't seem to think of them right now.
I've recently become really interested in Celtic legends, namely the one about the hallows of Ireland (or the treasures of Ireland, whichever you prefer). I think Celtic astrology is really cool, too. I'm also interested in the 13 treasures/hallows of Britain, and how they tie in with those of Ireland and the Arthurian legends.
I love dancing, and I would dance all day every day if I could. I've taken ballet and musical theatre, but my favorite by far is tap.
I love to draw and I often find that my notes consist of margin-sketches. They come in handy when exams come around...not.
My grandmother always told me that when you learned to read, you owned the world, so when I learned to read, I never looked back, and have been an avid reader and appreciator of literature ever since!
Things that just get on my nerves in fan fiction stories:
When people spell Victoire "Victorie". I will rarely finish reading a story with this continuous misspelling.
When people spell Ginevra "Ginerva". Again, I will rarely finish reading a story with this continuous misspelling.
When Ginny is called Virginia. It's one thing if it was written before her full name was revealed, but if it's after, it just irks me.
When Lily Luna Potter is written to have green eyes, because it states in the epilogue that Albus was the only one to inherit green eyes. Sort of the same thing with blue eyes, except that I can tolerate a little better, even if it doesn't genetically make much sense. With what I know, Lily L. having blue eyes couldn't be possible because James had hazel eyes and Lily had green, and since blue is recessive and even if Harry's parents were heterozygous, Harry still inherited green eyes and since Ginny's eyes are brown, neither Ginny nor Harry could've passed on the trait. Of course, I may be wrong or my information may be off, but in my head, it just doesn't add up. Okay, rambling over!
I hope you find as much joy in my stories as I do in writing them!
