Author has written 8 stories for Hunger Games.
So, what can be said about a guy like me? Grad student. Likes to draw on the side; other than the image of the Peacekeeper missile on the Seeds of Panem cover, all of the (very crude) images here are mine. Not very romantic.
To think, until relatively recently (as in just a few weeks before my join date), I was completely removed from the whole concept of fanfiction. Yet now...
Decided to write fanfic for The Hunger Games due to the immensely rich dystopian world that Suzanne Collins created. The fact that she didn't flesh out the world itself (except where it concerned the plot; eg 12, the Capitol, and 13) made it all the more appealing to creatively build from there.
There are three main categories my stores can fall under:
The Spielpolitik Saga: A canon-divergent setting that butterflies at the end of Catching Fire with Peeta being rescued instead of Katniss. Despite being an AU, the setting and characters are still canon-compliant pre-diverging-point if that makes sense. Very Peeta-centric.
Tales from Panem: Explains Panem itself in terms of its history, background, and certain practices and themes. Canon compliant and, barring anything Mockingjay-related, also applicable for the Spielpolitik AU.
After the Hunger Games: Another viewpoint after the end of Mockingjay that delves in the post-Rebellion reconstruction era that Panem goes through. Mainly revolves around an OC-driven storyline that follows two youths through this time. Canon-compliant.
On another note, I try to respond to PMs. So if you have any queries, concerns, comments, reviews, criticisms, just want to say hi and converse, etc... don't hesitate to shoot me something. Also, don't be shy if you want me to take a look at a work of your own; of course, so long as the above is taken into consideration.
However, I don't make public in-chapter replies to reviews for WIPs. So if you have a question and ask it via a guest post, chances are that you won't get an answer unless it comes about in the narrative.
That's about it.
