Author has written 12 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
I am LoyaltyFalters, but you can call me Loyalty or Loyal. I'm a young author looking for some advice on her writing, and maybe just a bit of acknowledgement for ego related reasons. I hope to learn some things from other authors while on here and am open to requests at all times.
I'm obsessed with:
Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Harry Potter, Naruto/Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, Hetalia: Axis Powers, Happy Tree Friends, The Mortal Instruments, Maximum Ride, Homestuck (Best comic ever), Paranatural (Also pretty rockin' comic), and a whole lot more that I don't feel like going into at the moment. Or ever, really.
What I'm working on now?
If I'm going to be honest with myself--nothing. Well, at least nothing for fanfiction. I've actually been working on an original story, but I'm a little behind on the word count. One of my goals is that by the end of the summer, I'll be able to write a good 5,000 words in a couple of days. I want 5,000 words for each chapter. I usually only stick to oneshots, and I'm sick of it. It's time for some change!
-If you want some information on my original story, PM me.
Do you have any stories planned out for the future?
Well, if I do manage to bump up my word count, I have an AU in mind that I'm just itching to write. It's a Percy Jackson fic (obviously), and it's pretty unique in an odd way, but still not so otherworldly that it's overpowering. It's basically a what-if story.
I plan on introducing the story when he's 12. Might be a sequel, we'll have to see. Definitely won't go through the whole prophecy ordeal. This is really just an idea buzzing around in my head at the moment.
Even if my word count goal is met, though, it'll be a long time before I start this. I want to get a general outline of things before I begin. Maybe even get a chapter or two done, so if you really want this, you'll have a long wait ahead of you. Several months. So sit back and enjoy the ride.
Do you plan on doing more oneshots?
Um, yeah, I definitely do. More angst for Percy! I really like writing oneshots, it gives me time to refine and tweak things in my writing style. Not to mention, they're easier to edit than full chapters. Pain was a real bitch to deal with.
So, yes, I do plan to make more oneshots in the (possibly near) future. I just have to get out of this rut I dug myself into. Child!Percy is a new infatuation of mine, and I really enjoyed going into the mind-frame of a little kid. Expect more of that, definitely.
