Author has written 10 stories for Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Naruto, Angel Beats!/エンジェルビーツ, Harry Potter, Pokémon, and Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon.
My name is Light Reveltion U. Yi or LRUY for short. My pen name is Light Yi for any future books that I publish. (I've already published some, but under another alias)
Quick Bio and Info:
I used to write a lot of original short stories growing up as a kid to teen, and have written quite a lot of fanfiction containing mainly original characters.
FAV Genres: Romance/Comedy/Mystery
My favourite fanfiction.net pastime(s): Reading and giving good reviews (as in, super detailed, long, and constructive reviews, and not one of those, "I loved it!" or "This fanfic is awesome!"), Reading a fanfic of a fandom I am not in when I'm bored or can't find a decent fanfic for the fandoms I am in, neglecting my own stories (unintentionally, by the way.)
“Be yourself. Above all, let who you are, what you are, what you believe, shine through every sentence you write, every piece you finish.” - John Jakes
“Writing is an exploration. You start from nothing and learn as you go.” - E. L. Doctorow
“If you're a singer you lose your voice. A baseball player loses his arm. A writer gets more knowledge, and if he's good, the older he gets, the better he writes.” - Mickey Spillane
“What a writer brings to any story is an attitude” - John Gregory Dunne
“I wrote a thousand words every day” - Jack London
"If there is a book that you want to read but it doesn't exist, write it yourself." - Anon.
"Writing starts off as a method of self-expression, a method to get some idea or thought off of your mind, and then later on it becomes a method of glory, a method to make money, a method to continue writing until writing kills you." - Anon.
Regarding Rhythmic Beats fan-fic:
Since I'm not one of those authors who take time and planning to write masterpieces, rather a writer who writes on impulse and immediate inspiration, I don't know how to continue this story. I can easily make up an average storyline with skill alone, but I'd rather not. Same goes with all other stories that have yet to see a new update.
Regarding Engel Parodie - Eine Reihe von Einem Schuss fan-fic:
Despite the title being German, the stories contained are not German. The first story was an one-shot filler placed in the middle of the canon story. The second story is a three-shot but I've lost the original 2nd chapter for it, and am at quite a loss as to how I'm going to continue the story. That is why the update has not yet come.
Regarding Naruto Shippuden: Lost Tower fan-fic:
After writing my longest chapter yet... I'm stuck as to how I should end this chapter. Sigh. It's the only story with the most followers and yet I can't come up with a better chapter ending... OTL. Sorry, I shouldn't get myself down. I'm doing my best to rewrite the ending of the chapter (not the story's ending, btw)...
Regarding Am I Human? fan-fic:
I wrote 5 more chapters, but after rereading them over and over a couple dozen times, I feel like it wouldn't really make any sense unless I put in a chapter to in between the fourth and the fifth chapter... but then maybe I'm overthinking things...
Regarding Magical Quartet fan-fic:
I've got a lot of personal complaints that the Main Characters' names are too commonly overused so I will either: A) change all the names or B) replace with completely new fan-fic
Regarding Rune Factory: A Pokemon Harvest Moon Fantasy fan-fic:
I know the name is a bit toooooo generic and common despite it being the second of its kind on this site. Well, since I'm the first one to use this title, I'll stick with it until I can come up with a better title. Nts: I'm lazy with titles and synopsis.
