![]() Author has written 7 stories for Gundam Wing/AC, Gundam Wing/Sailor Moon, Charmed, and Batman Beyond. Silver Scribes All that glitters is not gold. Silver Maybe... September 13th 2009 For the Love of Spandex: This is my first ever Batman Beyond piece and is a WIP. The first few chapters are up and FTLOS is based, albeit loosely, on Merlin Missy’s fic “Into Rain,” which is kind of bad-ass and you should read if you get the chance. I’m really into music of all types and certain songs have guided me when writing this: “When You Were Young (Killers Cover)” – Noisettes “Lions, Tigers, Bears”- Jazmine Sullivan “I Heard Love Is Blind” Amy Winehouse “F—king Boyfriend” The Bird and The Bee “Karma Police” Radiohead And because I’m me, I’ve created an entire playlist for this story… behold Anyway, updates will be coming at a snails pace. Sad face. But there’s not much to be done about that, school just started again, and it's a 4.0 semester people...or something like that anyway. I hope you enjoy the story and please be sure to let me know if you do…or you don’t. And a quick by the by Kyoko Kasshu Minamino is a synonym for awesome, and monuments should be built to BJ Louis's patience. Inazuma Akai is also a bad-ass in the art of beta-ing. They helped this story more than they can imagine. My Funny Valentine: So this is my first one-shot because I don’t really like reading one-shots too much because I guess drawn-out drama does it for me. Still, it’s about to be Valentines Day and I wanted to write something in its honour. There are a lot of short sentences and blunt facts in the story and I’m not really sure if it works but hey, I tried. The title really has this much to do with the story, but I like the song and it was all I could think of. Plus I'm not sure why Terry always comes off as a jealous poo-face in my stories but whatever... Yes the story is kind of bitter, and no I don’t like Valentines Day. Me and my almost, kind-of, but not really boyfriend agree that there shouldn’t be just the one day in the year where you tell each other the way you really feel. Although I feel like he might have agreed simply to avoid taking me anywhere on Saturday but whatever. Plus overly corny and cheesy stuff isn’t my thing anyway. Still, I hope you don’t hate it. In Those Eyes Revised: It’s In Those Eyes. Revised. So after I got absolutely MASSACRED by this one reviewer for the original version of this story, I eventually re-read the original version and looked at it in hindsight and hated it a little bit, so I decided that if I was going to continue then the entire thing had to be corrected and made to be somewhat readable and not as cringe-worthy. Plus I'm not gonna lie, I was a little bit horrified at the verbal-lashing I got, which I guess really was for the best for me to try and improve. For all the revisions that were done, all that came of it was an extra chapter before I lost complete interest. At one point in time I think that this may have had a plot, but then I didn't write it down and I forgot it and well that is a time that has long since passed and as I haven’t watched either Sailor Moon or Gundam Wing in a very long time I cannot even pretend to care. Fairy Tales: So, in my completely narcissistic opinion, aside from the prologue, this started out pretty strong but it kind of got muddled and confused half way through and I think that was because the more it began to turn into a love story the more out of my depth I got, and I began to rely on the prescribed love you can find in 24 of the 25 stories on any given page on this site. This will probably be on a permanent hiatus. Damn You Toast, Damn you! This was co-written with Piper-Wiccan aka Rogue-Piper, and it was originally posted on a Charmed site before making the rounds on . I have somewhat a love and hate relationship with the story because, it’s adopted this tacky-teen-writer author dialogue at the beginning of each chapter thing (my co-author can claim responsibility for that) that I kind of hate. But it has its moments. Piper-Wiccan and I have completely different personalities and therefore writing styles but I still think that the story flows despite the two points of views offered and like I said, it has its moments. However a completion is damn near impossible because other than a couple of birthday well wishes every year Piper-Wiccan and I haven’t really communicated in something close to half a decade simply because after I moved away from our shared school I left my best-friend status behind and the phone calls became less frequent and the emails shorter. So now I probably know her as well as you do. In Those Eyes: The original. The fact that I felt the need to revise it should tell you everything you need to know about this. Untitled: This was my first ever and incidentally only ever completed story written for . This is an example of pre-teen writing at its worst because it clearly shows someone who has never been in any similar situation attempting to write a love story filled with clichés; no regard for character development or continuity and a sickening ability to make you wonder how anyone could twist your favourite character into a shameless Mary-Sue. . It’s at the very least cannon. And still my first ever story shared with the masses and in my mind that fact will forever make it worthy of Nobel Prize in Literature. On a year they were feeling generous… So every few months I get a new obsession, simply because obsessing is fun to do. The last one was Twilight. Not because the books were particularly good or well written, in fact they were pretty woeful, but more so because of the high calibre of fanfiction associated with that series, which funnily enough were far beyond the capabilities of Stephanie Meyer. But now the current and I’m convinced, everlasting obsession is Star Trek. I’ve seen the new movie more times than I care to admit out loud and it’s like crack- stupendously addictive. Coincidently the fan fiction archive of Star Trek 2009 is just as kick-ass as the movie and I cannot seem to get enough. Oh, and I’m in love with Spock. I'm always open to meeting new people. I'm a teenage girl, in university and (really) a citizen of the world.
