Author has written 157 stories for How to Train Your Dragon, Ice Age, Warm Bodies, Isaac Marion, Rise of the Guardians, Aladdin, Astro Boy, Danny Phantom, Treasure Planet, Toy Story, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Tangled, Dr. Seuss series, Frozen, Brave, 2012, Harry Potter, and Beauty and the Beast.
This is my profile. I'm twelve days north of hopeless and a few degrees south of fangirling all the time. I'm located solidly on the border of obsession.
My stories. In a word, angsty. I've been writing for nine straight years and every single character is still OOC. I have reading, writing and a charming view of the fandoms. The only problems are the pests. You see, while most people have long ANs or writer's block, I have...dragons!
Most people would stop writing. Not me. I'm a muggleborn dragon ryder. I have stubbornness issues. My name's .ryder. Great name, I know. But it's not the best. People on here believe a great username will frighten off flamers and haters. Like our charming writer demeanor wouldn't do that.
That's the Rise of the Guardians fanfiction. Chief of the archives. They say that when it was in production, it had way angstier scenes. Do I believe it? Yes, I do.
The movie with robots and angst is Astro Boy. I've been infatuated with it ever since I was little. Well, littler.
See? Nine years, lots and lots of OOC characters.
Oh and that's Septimus Heap, Deltora Quest, the Shadow Falls series and... *awed voice* Harry Potter
Oh, their fandoms are so much cooler...
One day, I'll get out there. Because writing a fanfiction is everything around here. A humor fic is sure to get me at least NOTICED. Hurt/comforts are tough. Writing one of those will definitely get me reviews. A family fic? Exotic. Two characters, twice the angst. And then...there's the death fics. Only the best writers go after those. They have this nasty habit of depressing all who read them. But the ultimate prize is the fanfiction no one's ever tried...
We call it the...
ANGST OVERLOAD!!! GET DOWN!!
This thing never gets written, never shows itself and...is never happy. No one has ever written an angst overload. That's why I'm gonna be the first.
My fandoms are:
How to Train Your Dragon
Rise of the Guardians
Angst Overload, death fic, family fic…
Romance. This reclusive genre inhabits the minds of shippers and dark, twisted souls. When insulted, the shippers can produce a bunch of internet friends to defend them. Extremely dangerous; read on sight.
Fantasy. This gigantic genre has razor-sharp fanfictions that can slice through your head canons. Extremely dangerous; read on sight.
Friendship. Sprays inescapable feels at its reader. Extremely dangerous.
Crime. Even newly discovered writers can spray angst. Read on sight.
Tragedy. Supernatural. Adventure. Western. *whispers* science fiction!
Depresses its readers, discourages its readers, turns its readers to tears…
Extremely dangerous, extremely dangerous…read on sight, read on sight, read on sight…
The unholy offspring of obsession and angst itself. Never write this fanfiction. Your only chance: hide and pray the ideas don’t find you.
What you can expect me to write is...
I write all sorts really, but normally I focus on one of the three main characters of something or a side character that doesn't get a lot of credit. I adore writing angst, hurt/comfort, family and whump.
I sometimes do misguided attempts at romance or mystery and mostly it comes out bad, so I rarely do romance. But angst is much more fun xD So, there you go, those are the fandoms I write for/am going to write for in the distant future, so, if you're a part of any of those, awesome and be on the lookout for new stories from me in those fandoms! Happy reading and writing! (Oh, and I suggest you wear a gas mask at all times when reading 90% of my HTTYD stories. I don't want anyone suffocating from an angst overload. They're incredibly dangerous.)
Oh, one more thing: I have a Tumblr. I go by 'writerofberk'. Check me out, if you like! Warning: I over analyze. I obsess. I freak out. I'm way calmer on here.
This is my profile. I write angst nine months of the year and do Nano Wrimo the other three. Any happiness in my stories is frail and quickly slaughtered. The feelsy moments are even more so. The only upside is the fandom. You see, while most fandoms have Potterheads or glittery vampires, we have...DRAGONS.
