Author has written 4 stories for Trigun. Well, another day, another bio rewrite.I'm a college student with no actual professional interest in writing, but the occasional fic or two is helping to balance the two halves of my brain (I've been taking a LOT of math and science courses, and it's only going to continue). I'm actually quite new to this fanfiction business, so any opinions or pointers on my work would be greatly appreciated -- constructive criticism is any serious writer's best friend. So far, my main area of writing (okay, ONLY area of writing) has been Trigun, which to this day remains my favorite show. I'm also a huge fan of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Discworld, Full Metal Alchemist, and a lesser fan of such categories as Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, or anything Disney. I'm very concerned with canon characterization and the psychological analyses of characters, so don't be surprised if I attempt these. Upon recent considerations, I have decided that I would rather be a prose author than a poet... Current projects in progress are: Soon to be tackled project: Oh, yes, and there have been some questions about the format I'm employing for "In the Line of Duty." The drabble is not a style I have created (though I'd love to take credit for it). Here and there you'll see them scattered around ; basically, they're 100-word, stand-alone one-shot stories. Generally they'll end with a surprise, and they're often humorous. What I am attempting is a new variation on this standard style, by writing a *continuing* story comprised of drabble chapters. I haven't stumbled across any other works of fanfiction that have employed this particular format. ~~~ ~~~ "Brevity is the soul of wit" - William Shakespeare ~~~ |
