Author has written 20 stories for Alias, Mentalist, Pretender, and Sherlock. Real name: Adriana Age: 35 Country: well even though it's right above, I'm from The Netherlands Favorite Shows: Sherlock, The Mentalist, Alias, The Pretender, and Chuck Other shows I watch(ed): White Collar, Lie to me, NCIS, Once upon a time, HIMYM, Nikita, Hotel Babylon Ships: Sherlolly, Jisbon, Sarkney and Jarod/Miss Parker About my ships: First ship I ever sort of shipped was Jarod/Miss Parker, why? Well I just loved her snarky comments and bitchy attitude while actually just being a hurt little girl who lost her mom and Jarod grew up with her and throughout everything he always remained honest with her and helped her eventhough she was send to capture him. I just loved it and after it ended I was sooooo disappointed, they never really did get together and that's where fanfiction got me through. I read endless pages to fill that awful hole left in my heart when it ended and found that sometimes people on the internet were better writers than those who actually made the series. I wasn't writing at that time, but my head was always filled with ways to get those two together. Recently I rewatched all of seasons and the movies and finally got the courage to write the piece of fiction I had in my mind for over twenty years. After the Pretender ended I somehow fell into Alias, I bought a magazine in France while being on holiday (because there was something in it about The Pretender) and read an article about it. Because that summer was boring and all my friends were gone I went to the local CD/DVD store. Seriously they never had anything there, always old stuff and way to expensive, but anyway I found a DVD box of Alias, decided to buy it (boy! were those expensive) and I watched it for two days straight, locked up in my bedroom, curtains closed and curled up on my couch while it was 30 degrees (Celsius) outside. I was in love with the episode within two minutes and the season ended on a cliffhanger (actually pretty much every episode does) so I was yelling at my tv and found out the second season came out the week after. So a week later this repeated itself, and then I had to wait a year! yes a freaking year to watch the third season!!!!! I was beyond mad and didn't know anything about downloading so I was really really screwed. This is how I ended up being a fanatic fanfic reader and always on the hunt for spoilers. I shipped Sarkney really hard because although Vaughn was nice, he was also a bit boring and did some stuff I hated. Anddddd David Anders was really hot and bad ass, and my 17 year old self was totally in love with the mysterious criminal master mind. But Alias ended, my ship sunk and never became canon (unless you sort of count that one episode) and I was left showless. After rereading pretty much every bit of Sarkney fanfiction there was, and I'm still looking for one that I sort of lost, I started to write my own. That one is called Tango and up till now it's my longest story. I wrote it mostly while sitting in the bus while going to or coming from uni. I finished it years later, because no more bus rides to write my story and while I had the ending sort of in my head, the last chapters just wouldn't come to me. I am not completly happy with the bridge I built between the ending and the last chapters or so, but at least I managed to complete it. Later on The Mentalist fandom sucked me in and let me fell in love with Jisbon, and made me write lots of little stories. I love that show, but I was disappointed by the last episode of season six, it could have been sooooo much better and we got what we wanted, but somehow still it was too cheesy. Don't hate on me for saying that, it's just that I've seen so many people write so many awesome stories, there have been so many authors who made Jisbon canon in their stories in unique ways. For that reason it was a bit of a let down, mostly because of all those wonderful people in my fandom who did such a great job at making them a couple in their stories. Just before the second season of Sherlock started I watched the first after awesome people on my Facebook liked it and said I should watch it. From the first moment on I loved Benedict as Sherlock, loved Martin as John and was amazed by how incredible their performance was and how neat everything within the episode was. Sherlolly came much later on, I never sort of shipped until I got into Tumblr and saw posts that made my heart do a little flip, okay and the Christmas scene in 2x01 and of course the scenes from 2x03 were tugging at my feels. I didn't want to start writing for Sherlock because I noticed people were a little bit more harsh, and I didn't want to leave people hanging just as did with my Alias fic. I've read every Sherlock book and I've been to the Sherlock Holmes museum in Londen (which was two decades ago, but it still counts) So I hope you guys enjoy my writing and if you want to ask me something or want a prompt done, chat about one of my favorite series or need to know something that's biology related (that master degree is finally in my pocket) pm me! |
