I felt a bit jealous seeing other people's profiles filled out so I figured I would as well.

My name's Brittany. Some of my friends call me Brinny or Britt/Brit.

I'm much more interest in reading fanfic than I am with writing them (which is to say, none) so this is mostly for me to easily keep track of my favorite stories and authors without having to bookmark them all on my browser. Especially since that would only get increasingly disorganized.

I love stories, and honestly spend most of my time immersed in them, but I'd personally rather draw them than write.

The only fanfics I've read have been for Klaine, Merlin, and White Collar. I only started reading fanfic in the last few months of last year. I absolutely love the characters in Merlin and seeing them in new situations only makes me want to read more. Speaking of which, I seem to go back and forth between shipping Merthur as a bromance or an actual romance. Actually, I ship Arwen, Merthur, Merlin/Freya, and Mergana but preferably not all at once because that just gets overly stressful.

I'm obsessive. Annoyingly so. Once I start reading or watching something I find it incredibly difficult to stop. I have spent many sleepless nights before school trying to catch up with random tv shows. (Doctor Who was probably one of the worst because of its length.) Honestly, it's gotten to be a bit of a problem. Now if only I could show such devotion to other things I do.

The first fanfic I ever read was a few years ago. It was about Stephen Colbert becoming Hogwarts' new DADA teacher. I'm pretty sure it was amazing, not that I can remember much about it anymore.

Sometimes I really wish I could favorite other people's favorite lists... it would make things so much easier. *sigh*

I have a Merlin playlist and I've discovered that about 95% of the songs are rather depressing if not at least leaning more on the sad side. I guess that says something about the show. Or perhaps about its fans since I've gotten most of them from fan's music videos and photo meshes.
