Went to Iraq, got blown up. Went to Afghanistan, got bored. Started writing Eva fic to pass the time. Only published the one so far, but there's a 300 page monster I'm working on.

In the meantime, the reviews of my one-shot have asked for and got me writing more in that line. 1000 words done so far. A couple of other chapter ideas cooking. I hope this won't distract me from finishing the big one, which is 85% done.

Update 06OCT14: Chapter 1 of 'Advice and Trust' now up. The idea just keeps getting bigger for me, and I'm tentatively plotting out just how far to take it, maybe even all the way to the End, just to see how much their relationship affects things. Chapter 2 might take a while longer, though, as that's where things start seriously altering from canon.

Update 18OCT14: 1000 words done on first scene of Ch3. May post previews on Sufficient Velocity.

Update 30OCT14: Chapter 5 done, just waiting a few days to post it. There will be a longer gap after that as I have to plot out the next chapter.

Update 14NOV14: 3000 words into Chapter 6. Rei will surprise everyone. Portions up at Sufficient Velocity.

Update 24NOV14: Chapter 4 done, bigger than all the rest. Chapter 5 underway. Chapter 12 and an epilogue plotted.

Update 02MAY15: Chapter 7 done, working on Chapter 8. Writing process disrupted by loss of job. :(

Update 22MAY18: Three years later, Advice & Trust is over 300k words and in Chapter 11. Yipes.
