Author has written 2 stories for Walking Dead, and Elder Scroll series.

ABOUT:

I was previously known as Hint of a Melody.

Little Description: Hi there, I'm Mo, a teenage geek who's too right brained for her own good. I'm madly in love with Skyrim and Star Trek, among many other things that would take way too long to name. As you can probably gather, I enjoy writing when I feel a certain creative burst that I can't keep at bay, and I have a huge passion/love for the film industry. I'm hoping that one day I can work both behind and in front of the camera.

Anyhow, I think constructive criticism on my works is extremely awesome, so feel free to drop reviews! Don't feel obligated to, by any means. If anything, I'm content with you enjoying the stories that I create.

EXTRA INFO. ON MY PROFILE PICTURE:

If you're curious, it's of my Dragonborn, also the main character from "Of Whispers and Warriors", Ailith Dawn-Sabre. (Excuse the lack of details in the picture, iPhone cameras aren't necessarily the most high end thing in the world. ) The dragon was cool for awhile, but I thought Alduin was getting a bit too intimidating.

INSPIRATION:

Sometimes it's movies, other times music. (Mumford & Sons, Florence & The Machine, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Soundtracks, et cetera, et cetera...) I get a lot of my drive from other writers, too. And who doesn't like delving into their favorite fandoms and getting a better understanding of them in a super creative way like this?

UPDATING:

I update whenever I can, I try not to let my laziness get in the way of that.

On a side note, I cannot stand spam or rude comments. I doubt you'd like it if I did something like that to you, and you know the golden rule, treat others as you would want to be treated.

NEWS: (Using Skyrim months and days.)

27th of Sun's Dusk, Middas (27th of November, Wednesday) - Chapter Three of "Of Whispers and Warriors" is up! And, since I'm on vacation, I'm going to take a break from writing for the rest of the day. But I'll start back up again tomorrow. (I know it's Thanksgiving ;)

15th of Sun's Dusk, Fredas (15th of November, Friday) - I'm finishing up the next chapter of OW&W as we speak!

9th of Frostfall, Middas (9th of October, Wednesday) - First off, I'd like to apologize for my ridiculously long absence. I was getting my muse back to start writing "Of Whispers and Warriors", and with school starting back up again, everything's been pretty hectic. Anyway. I'll be publishing the Prologue for OWAW today, and I'm rewriting the first chapter with a bit more twists. (Authors have a creative license for a reason, right?) Sorry again! And for those of you who were excited for the story, I apologize for making you wait for so long.

29th of Midyear, Loredas (29th of June, Saturday) - Phew, well, I'm finally back home. I've been in Fort Lauderdale in Florida, then Universal Studios in Orlando for the past week, and haven't had any time to write. (Much less think... Roller coasters tend to do that to you.) Now I'm going to get back to it and start writing Chapter 9 of "Behind Blue Eyes". I'm super excited to get "Safe Haven" back up and running again, kudos to those of you who have stuck with me for this whole time! "Of Whispers and Warriors" should also be making it's first appearance very, very soon.

4th of Last Seed, Middas (4th of December, Wednesday) - I've been trying to get a schedule planned for OW&W, and I've finally decided that a new chapter should be out every Saturday! :) Keep an eye out for it.

CURRENTLY WRITING:

The Walking Dead: "Safe Haven" (Daryl D./OC, Tragedy & Romance, Rated T, eventually going to be changed to M.) PUT ON HIATUS.

Description: Police officer Willow Austell suddenly finds herself held fast in the claws of the epidemic that swept across the globe, surrounded by constant death and decay. There is seemingly no place that is fully protected, safety disappeared along with humanity. A troubled man may be the only person able to help her find that small thread of hope to hold onto again. (Eventual Daryl/OC)

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: "Of Whispers and Warriors" (Ralof/Dragonborn/Dovahkiin, Hurt/Comfort & Fantasy, Rated T, but will be changed to M in the future.)

Description: When Ralof crosses paths with a mysterious Bosmeri woman, his life is flipped upside down by the resurfacing shadows of her past and the inescapable clutches of his future. He is determined to unravel her secrets, but will he find it in him to withstand the cold and seemingly heartless elf while on the brink of war? (Eventual Ralof/OC)

COMING WAY LATER ON:

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: "Black Market Blood" (OC/Harkon, Hurt/Comfort & Tragedy, Rated T, definitely going to be changed to M.)

Description: (coming soon.)

MISC.:

(A Skyrim poem that I snagged from skyflower51's profile, all credit for this goes to her!)

OATH TO NIRN

I'll think of the DRAGONBORN
Every time I shout
And I'll remember ALDUIN
When evil won't win out

PAARTHURNAX will come to mind
If I win an inner battle
I'll think of HEIMSKR if I find
Someone who likes to prattle

SERANA'S who I'll think of
When what's right's worth more than kin
And if someone vows to help me
I'll remember ODAHVIING

I'll think of ERANDUR if there
Is shame within my past
And LYDIA if I meet someone
Loyal to the last

I'll treasure ARNGEIR'S wisdom
When I watch the skies above
I'll weep for poor KARLIAH
If I lose someone I love

I'll grin and think of BRYNJOLF
If I get called 'lass' or 'lad'
And CICERO if someone's strange
And well and truly mad

HADVAR and RALOF I'll recall
When great friends grow apart
I'll honour ULFRIC STORMCLOAK
If there's freedom in my heart

I'll think of MERCER if someone
Is not quite what they seem
If someone's proud and haughty
Then I'll think they're like NAZEEM

I'll think of FARKAS when I meet
A slow but loyal friend
And DERKEETHUS if there's one
Who'll follow to the end

If a dad betrays his daughter
Then I'm thinking of HARKON
And of TULLIUS and KODLAK
When I'm old but fighting on

I'll think anyone's like ASTRID
Who won't leave the past behind
If someone's brave but heartless
Then DELPHINE will come to mind

I'll think of ONMUND and J'ZARGO
And BRELYNA when in school
I'll remember DELVIN MALLORY
When someone's accent's cool

I'll be thinking of AELA
When a woman knows her mind
And of GELEBOR when someone is
The last one of their kind

I'll honour SAVOS AREN
When a noble teacher dies
And I'll remember ESBERN
When I meet a man who's wise

You'll find me thinking of MIRAAK
When pride proceeds a fall
And STORN CRAG-STRIDER if a man
Gives up his life for all

I'll shed a tear for DURNEHVIIR
If I'd hate to be a slave
And GALLUS, SKJOR and ARNBJORN
When love outlasts the grave

I vow to think of TAMRIEL
When I look to the sky
And to honour all its people
Up until the day I die

I make this oath because of just
How legendary they are
I'll pay my tribute to them now
By shouting FUS RO DAH!
