Except those princes usually became monstrous-looking creatures who needed true love's kiss to return to normal. They did not get stuck as a six-year-old boy depending on a bald runt and two Water Tribe siblings.

A select few of the crew on the Finaliser are shapeshifters and every so often shapeshifters are forced to change into their animal form. Most of the higher up officers take supplements to stop the transformation, but circumstances force Hux to go without them. He is forced to prowl around as a small ginger housecat and Ren happens to take a liking to the small cat.

He had been cursed, and no one of importance seemed to notice. His parents, his brother did not seem to care. His beloved, his friends all slain because they tried to help him. He would get free of his prison, and those who cursed him would get their comeuppance. After all, revenge is a dish best served cold. And he had been locked away to plan his revenge for centuries.

When Snoke died, Kylo Ren thought that he could be his own man – free from his cruel clutches and manipulation. But he was wrong. Snoke may be dead, but the Supreme Leader was wise and planned it all, to the extent of making sure that the Skywalker bloodline would continue and remain in the dark side forever.

Aang died in the Airbender massacre allowing the avatar to be reborn, but failure echoed in his wake. Zuko ended up facing the Dai Li with the Avatar crew. In the process he was forced to unleash his flames. This triggers a chain of events, one of them is meeting a spirit who gifts him the power of a Dragon for saving the Avatar and altering what should have happened. Fates changed and altered for better or for worse. Dragon Zuko. Eventual Jetko.

After finding a certain poster, Sokka tries to learn something new about Zuko. Instead, Sokka learns that he did not judge Zuko's boundaries as well as he'd hoped. And he learns this by crossing aforementioned boundaries.

"You will learn to firebend Prince Zuko," Ozai said with a cruel smile. "Your life depends on it."

Trying to escape the Fire Nation on the Day of Black Sun, Zuko runs into Azula on accident and is gravely injured. Luckily, as Aang, Sokka, and Toph are retreating from the failed mission to take out the Firelord, they over hear the commotion and save him. Not everybody is happy to have Zuko with them now, but they say to keep your friends close and *former* enemies closer... R R!

Growing up in the Lower Ring, Zuko knows life will never be what he wanted. That doesn't mean he isn't strong enough to fight for a better future and even become a Dragon in the process. AU.

Home is where you make it. Or, the AU where Loki falls to Earth after Thor, wanders around trying to work out what to do with himself, and somehow ends up working for SHIELD. Mostly because supervillains are so plebian.

Where Loki hides out on a farm and accidentally adopts a cat, a horse, a goat, an alpaca, snakes and rabbits, a couple of otters, and dog or four, and builds an animal rehabilitation service and home for wayward or abused creatures. And of course, Clint's dog runs away from his farm and ends up in the middle of it all. He isn't named Lucky for nothing.

A one-shot that explores the depth of Loki's character and all the dismissive practices he engages in to keep himself separate from Thor's unconditional love. These are the lies Loki tells himself and still, the two share a moment together.

Tony knows that something is wrong with Loki. He absolutely knows it- so obviously he has to capture a Norse god. Of course, trapping a Trickster is going to be tricky. Good thing he enlists the help of a Teenager with freaky spider webs, and a Neurosurgeon who messes with magic every Tuesday. It's not like Loki's mind controlled or insane or- what's this about a Stone?

The Agni Kai has concluded, wounding Prince Zuko leaving a worried Uncle in a precarious situation. Before wounds can heal the former prince is forced from his homeland to find the Avatar. After the General went to such lengths to make sure Kylo Ren made it to Snoke alive, it's the least Kylo can do to make sure the General is better compensated for his troubles than what their Master had planned. Though perhaps a new job is not quite what Hux had in mind. Dealing with Kylo's Ren calling to the Light, even less so.

More than anything, Hux craves discipline, and that is the one thing Kylo Ren cannot offer.
