Author has written 20 stories for Twilight. Let me start by saying that I'm always HEA and always Bella & Edward My facebook profile is https://www.facebook.com/groups/229296220936960/. Come and find me for banners, posts and new story notifications I’m from the UK and a mother to 3 grownup children, grandmother to 6 grandchildren. It’s taken me a long time to realise that I am now old enough to be a grandmother despite the fact that I feel like I’m still under 30 though I am over 60 now. I thought I was certifiably insane to be obsessed with a character in a book but TWCS and FanFiction have proved me wrong – there are many out there my age and beyond with the same fixation. It all began years ago, 2009 to be precise, when my daughter raved about this hot vampire love story called Twilight and so the obsession was born. I avidly read the following 3 books one after in a short space of time and even searched the library when I had finished for something else that would feed the addiction. Like many of you out there, I longed for more of Edward, how he felt, the fade-to-black wedding night and what happens next. Google to the rescue! I found Stephenie Meyer’s website, the Midnight Sun beginning – which by the way I would love her to finish one day – and then on to FanFiction and TWCS and all the others. I am Edward and Bella all the way and am half in love with Edward since my ex-boyfriend is a dead ringer for Robert Pattinson though I will read Edward and Jasper and even the three together. I am canon all the way and reading non-canon feels like a betrayal. At first I was a little embarrassed by my OCD but since I am in good company, I am happy to confess to my family and close friends who though think I am mad, happily accept it. My mother, 20 years older than me has even become interested though my sister is more resistant and insists on those ‘other’ paranormal romance stories like the Black Dagger lot! I now spend much of my time searching for new stories and reading one of my collection of stories, which I thought was large until I came across others with more than my 8,000 or so. I have always wanted to write even if it was never published and I now have a place to put myself out there. My first story was a contest entry on FanFiction, which though it didn’t win gave me my first taste of reviews – from some fantastic writers out there that I read over and over again. I will publish that when the contest is finished and hope to get at least one person to read and review. Let me end by repeating that I'm always HEA and always Bella & Edward I’ve never looked back and am enjoying every minute Sue |
