Author has written 3 stories for Fate/stay night, and Daily Life with a Monster Girl/モンスター娘のいる日常. Hi! My name is SilverBug I'm a Political Science Major. (Scratch that I'm now a Criminology Major) I have no idea what the hell I'm going to do with that! (This is still the case.) All that's happened so far is me doubting every political view I've held over the small span of my life. Hopefully I'll go to law school. Debt for years here I come! Take a random number in your head and that's probably not my age! But you can pretend it is anyway. Also, I have a penis! Which means I'm a guy. Well, technically you could have one and be a female but that gets into the darker parts of the internet and we're going to refrain from talking about that. For now. Since we already brought up two of the big 'no-nos' of proper dinner table conversation (politics and sex) I might as well bring up the third 'religion. I'm a Methodist, which may be surprising considering the views my main OC Dante has. I always find it fun to look at all sides of a story. Though I might be a bit biased with my background so feel free to call me out if I end up straw manning. That's something I try to avoid. I'm a big fan of 'dem vidya games'. Specifically the FPS and RPG genres. Currently I'm playing Skryim Remastered and Mass Effect Andromeda (I really, really miss Shepard). Reading's also a bit of a hobby of mine. Makes sense considering the website I'm on. Right now I'm reading: various fanfics on this website. I haven't cracked open a 'real' story in a while now. Sadly, time doesn't allow for it. But that just means I've been seeing more of what my peers in the realm of fanfiction have been up to! I have no real interest in pairings, or romance in general for that matter. No matter what form of media it may be, I'm not going to go out of my way to ship characters when the original creator hasn't explicitly stated that there's romance involved. That being said, I have no problem with all the fans out there that see something I don't. (Edit, I've changed my opinion on this. Dante Di Prinzi x Jabberwocky ftw!) I'm a simple man when it comes to movies. More often than not I'll be watching something that pertains to crime. Goodfellas, Scarface, etc. If not, it'll probably be some generic mindless action flick involving some meathead hero slaughtering thousands of nameless grunts. *Cough Rambo *Cough. On occasion I also enjoy viewing the so-called 'classics'. Charlie Chaplin's 'The Great Dictator', Nosferatu, all the Monty Python movies (wonderful films), and the original Godzilla (as well as the various sequels, though I wouldn't consider all of them 'classic'). Like anyone I have my 'guilty pleasure' films as well. My favorite being 'The Town That Dreaded Sundown'. No, not that shitty 2014 meta-sequel. I'm talking about the equally shitty 1976 original. Don't know why, I just love it. Even though it's a cheesy slasher film. With anime I'm a strange individual. Usually I watch the series that are shorter in length. Maybe twenty-five episodes at most. When I try and watch something with more episodes I tend to abruptly quit the series for no discernible reason. I guess my attention span is just that short. This ends up screwing me over with a lot of good shows out there. Code Geass is one example. It's my favorite anime. Yet I still haven't finished the last two episodes of the second season. I know, I know, I'm a sinner. (Edit, I finished it. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Shouldn't have put it off for so long.) Some anime that I actually finished that I really enjoyed would be Angel Beats, Highschool of the Dead, Durarara, Overlord, One Punch Man, No Game No Life, and of course the various Fate series. Except that Studio Deen version of Stay/Night. For that disappointment, I have a few things to say to Studio Deen. The first would be 'vaffanculo'. After that I would just ask several questions starting with 'why'. Examples include: 'Why does the dragon look like that?' 'Why is there a dragon?' 'Why do people die when they are killed?' (Though I forgive them a bit for that since it was in the Visual Novel as well.) 'Why did you fuck this up so badly?' and finally, my favorite, 'Why did I actually finish watching this but haven't finished watching Ufotable's version of Unlimited Blade Works?!' The last one's mainly due to my own incompetence. You may also notice that most of the anime I've actually finished are 'newer'. Or you may have not noticed, in which case I'm pointing it out so now you should notice. But I digress, the reason that most of the anime I've watched is rather recent is mainly because I'm a newcomer to the anime community. Well, I'm still not really a part of the community. I don't go to conventions, I don't cosplay, I don't do anything but occasionally watch a few episodes. What really got me into anime was the enjoyment I felt while reading visual novels. Since they're kind of similar. One's reading, one's watching. I doubt that all of you know what visual novels are. Basically they're picture books. If picture books had soundtracks, various plot routes, dozens of hours of content, really detailed artwork, and took around five years to be translated from Japanese. Oh, and also if picture books had sexual content in them. Many visual novels do. That'd give a whole new meaning to 'Fun with Dick and Jane'. Terrible joke, I know. Finally, to best understand my personality one must only know my two slogans. "Food is food." and "Don't worry 'bout it." You now understand a little bit more about me, and why I'm probably going to fail at life! But at least I can at least say I sort of enjoyed this fanfic writing thing. Buona giornata, SB Have a nice day, SB P.S. If it wasn't completely obvious, I'm a pessimistic bastard with a love for sarcasm. Cheers! Potential Stories- All of these are potentially up for adoption. If you're interested feel free to PM me. I'm also welcoming any questions, suggestions, or comments. Fit as a Bull Moose: Synopsis- Waver Velvet should have summoned Alexander the Great. He should have stolen Kayneth's catalyst, and that catalyst should have been a piece of Alexander's mantle. But he didn't, he chickened out, and Kayneth had a completely different catalyst than expected. So, what did young Waver do? He gambled. And tried a summoning ritual without a catalyst. The bespectacled, mustachioed man that appeared just oozed charisma and confidence. Two things that Waver lacked. But that would change in time. You see, Waver Velvet did not summon Alexander the Great, but that is not to say he did not summon someone similar. The Servant he now had was the human embodiment of the word 'machismo'. He was perhaps the only Heroic Spirit from the 20th Century that could look Gilgamesh in the eyes and laugh. Why, you may ask? He was fearless, even in the face of death. And that's because Teddy always carried a bigger stick. The Coldest Winter in Memory: Will take place in Fate Zero with Charles as Waver's Servant. He can either replace Alexander altogether as a Rider, or if the author wishes, Alexander can be summoned by Kayneth and Charles can take either the Ruler class or another. Synopsis- Some men are born to rule. They aren't raised for the throne, they're destined since birth through the blessing of God. This is a War for the Holy Grail. A Gathering of Kings. The King of Heroes. The King of Knights. The King of Conquerors. But there's room for one more at the Banquet. One last King to challenge them all for control. The Great Protector of Sweden has been reborn. He waited for the throne for fifteen years! Then he waited more than two hundred and seventy for a second chance at it! Now, he's been chosen by Heaven once again, and this time he intends to see victory at last. No allegiances. No oaths. No mercy. Carolus Rex has arrived, and this time Peter the Great isn't around to stop him. Lion of the North: Synopsis- No one was expecting more than seven Servants to be summoned. They most definitely were not expecting fifteen to be summoned. Turns out the Grail thought Jeanne needed some help in keeping the two factions controlled. Now if only it hadn't made the mistake of summoning her 'help' as another member of the Ruler class. If that wasn't bad enough he was also massively involved in the Thirty Years' War. As a member of the anti-Hapsburg side. And Jeanne just so happens to be one of the most famous Catholics in history. Wonderful. Oh? You're telling me the Master of Assassin on the Red side is a famous Catholic too? And Lancer of Black too?! This just keeps getting better and better. Time for the Golden King to show these Catholics how a war is meant to be fought! What? You're telling me he's supposed to be a neutral party? Damn. Let's see how long that lasts. Conscientious Objector: A Danganronpa story featuring an OC. Set during the High School Life of Mutual Killing. Synopsis- He was known as the Ultimate Zealot. A young man so beholden to his beliefs that he could not fathom failing to uphold them. He would not kill. No matter the circumstances. For killing was the Ultimate Sin. Nor would he allow himself to be killed. Not because he had any iota of self-preservation, no, he would not allow his life to be taken by another because he believed that would irredeemably stain his murderer's soul. Someone like he could not be reasoned with. He could not be convinced of another position. His perspective was far too dogmatic. And yet... did that not make the game more interesting? By all rights, he had no chance of falling for the Mastermind's game. Would that not make it even sweeter in the event he did? Nature vs. Nurture: A Danganronpa x Fate/Zero crossover. Can either take place during the High School Life of Mutual Killing or the events that precede it featuring Class 78th. Synopsis- Kirei Kotomine did not expect to wake up in a school for Ultimates. More than that, he didn't expect to be listed as the 'Ultimate Priest'. Yet here he was, forced into a situation that didn't at all suit him. Better the Devil You Know: A Fate/Zero x Elfen Lied crossover. Synopsis- Before Lucy took that first step towards becoming a monster, before the incident involving her puppy, her orphanage happened to be visited by a certain Risei Kotomine and his son, Kirei. How would her opinion of human change upon meeting a child who could only gain joy from the suffering of others? My Unorthodox Teacher is More Competent Than Expected: A Great Teacher Onizuka x Oregairu crossover. Synopsis- Onizuka actually remembered to take the civil service exam and thus was able to work at a public school. As a result, our boy Hachiman's middle school life just became way more interesting. Will probably end up leading to an Onizuka x Shizuka romance if things progress into the events of Oregairu itself. Is it Wrong to Praise the Lord in a Dungeon?: A DanMachi story featuring an OC. One who just so happens to be a hospitaller brought to Orario by uncertain means. Synopsis- One moment you're fighting the saracens at the Battle of Hattin, the next you find yourself transported to a land where pagan gods walk the earth. Such is the life of one knight who seemed to be blessed with misfortune. |
