Halfway through Sherlock's Great Hiatus, Mycroft comes to him with the news that John has died. But all is not what it seems…

Hermione is the one who finds Draco weeping in the bathroom. He flees. She chases him into the Room of Requirement, and the room forces them to face their greatest fears together in order to find the door.

John's finally had enough of trying to change Sherlock's heartless nature and decides to move out. However, a case pops up just before he can, leading the pair on a wild, complicated and above all difficult adventure.

Paracetamol was about as useful as gumdrops in her condition. She never bothered with it these days. She hated to barge but maybe that nice doctor upstairs would be in to take a quick look at it?

Sherlock is possessed by a demon. A damned, wicked soul that uses the kitchen table for blood rituals and experiments. John doesn't even notice the difference.

SPOILERS FOR THE FINAL EPISODE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Sherlock has not backed off. Moriarty follows through on his threat.

John goes on conference to get away from Sherlock, but that's never going to be easy now, is it? Friendship fic!
