Story Ideas I'm working on, Sort of (their in infancy, just ideas)
The Necromancer: My Hero Academia
Basically Izuku has the power to manipulate bones. Moving them, controlling, and even reshaping them. This idea was given to me by a friend of mine. Izuku is still going to be a nerd in this, but he is also going to be a bit of a Goth punk. Not a full edge lord like Tokoyami, but those two might be friends in this story. His outfit is going to be this grim reaper cloak and skull mask. Pairing undecided for now.
Twelve year old Izuku runs away from home no longer able to take the ridicule of being quirkless and wanting his mom to have a better life without him. While on the run an incident occurs and Izuku awakens his quirk. Acceleration or as he puts it the ability to move really really fast. With his new quirk he becomes a vigilante in the remote outlands of Japan. There he trains his quirk, but unfortunately three years later he attracts the attention of certain heroes who are sent to catch the uncatchable Izuku. What they find is a smart mouthed fifteen year old that lives alone in the middle of nowhere and moves faster than the eye can blink.
Izuku with a super speed quirk. Imagine a more OP version of quicksilver from the X-Men movies. I don't know who to pair him with though. If anybody read my Bleach story Candy I plan on making Izuku crazy and weird like I did to Ichigo in that. Maybe a bit less extreme than that. So yeah I'll probably parody things that don't make sense to me in MHA, but it comes from a place of love.
Here's a yaoi harem story a friend really wants me to do.
Four Lords, One Messenger: MHA Izuku X 3 Boys(Guess Which Ones)
Being a messenger of the gods is not exactly the best job. Izuku would much rather be a champion of the gods. Slaying monsters and demons and protecting humanity. Unfortunately he got the job of being basically a cosmic mail man. Pretty boring, but the job had its little moments. However one day
Izuku was given one of the most important duties in history. The "One", The chief of the gods himself sent Izuku of all the messengers to deliver four very important missives. According to the "One". The time for the world to end and be remade was upon them.
Izuku must find the four Lords of the Apocalypse, powerful divine being created by the gods that represent death and destruction, and tell them that the time has come to do fulfill their duty. Izuku successfully does this without any major hiccups. At least until he gets back to his apartment and finds the four lords hanging out in his living room. Turns out they don't want to destroy the world for their own personally reasons.
The Lord of War likes to fight and cant do that if there's no world. The Lord of Disaster inherited the title from his father whom he hates and wants to spite the bastard. The Lord of Chaos wants to sleep and play with his cat. The Lord of Death just wants to sit around and play video games all day.
Just when it cant get any worse three out of four of them get the hots for our adorable messenger boy.
A friend of mine explained this idea of hers to me recently. She said the humor and themes of it was loosely inspired by a series called Good Omens. I recently binge watched it to get an idea of what she was talking about. Amazing series by the way. Also apparently inspired by goofy harem animes. The scenes she described reminded me a lot of Tenchi Muyo.
Here's a few more villain deku stories that popped into my head
My Name is Legion: MHA
"I finally understood my purpose in life. My purpose is to be everyone in this world. I'll assimilate every human on earth until all that remains is me me me."
"Do you have any idea what this feels like All Might!? My consciousness spread amongst so many bodies! My will extended to this many people! This must be how God feels!"
This is a weird one. Here me out. Izuku has a quirk that allows him to convert anyone he touches for ten seconds into a copy of himself, and that copy gains the quirk of the person he assimilated. All of them are united and work together like a hive mind. The basic idea came from the Matrix trilogy. Specifically the villain Agent Smith and his ability. Not sure where to go with this one yet.
The Mind is The Limit: MHA
Izuku after Allmight crushes his dreams, blah blah same old story. He volunteers for a science experiment that could potentially grant him a quirk. The procedure goes horribly wrong and Izuku disappears without a trace. Ten months later he returns as this mysterious new villain that seems to possess powers that lets him mess with the fabric of reality itself.
Warning: Inspired by that new Doom Patrol show. Extremely out of character insane Izuku. Inspired by evil reality warping characters Mr. Nobody, Bill Cipher or Mr. Mxyzptlk.
Rise of the Octopus:
Mad scientist Izuku with Doc Oc robot tentacles. Someone else already came up with this idea a few years ago, but they only did two chapters which is disappointing. I really like the idea of it and this would be my version of it. Personality wise, Izuku is going to be very mean and eccentric. Also he's going to really hate quirks and Allmight in this story. Also borrowing a lot of Marvel comic elements again.
This one is going to get really ugly at certain points. There's a certain amount of brutality I have in my mind.
This one doesn't have a plot yet. The idea is that Izuku is a quirkless villain and is secretly manipulating both the heroes and the villains from behind the scenes. Its inspired by another story called 'Another Form of Power' by Jade Tatsu. Also sort of Death Note inspired. No one knows about him being the secret villain until towards the end.
The League Of Villainous Evil: New name for the comedy villain deku story. Here's a random scene I thought of:
"We are the League of Villainous Evil!" Izuku laughed, activating the fake thunderclap effect he had Mei build into his chair.
"That spells Love you maniac!" Shinso shouted at him. "We are not calling ourselves Love!"
"I like it." Mei agreed with their leader and mastermind behind their organization.
"See she likes it, plus its kind of locked in." Izuku smirked. "I even had shirts made." He pulled out a box from underneath the table and began tossing black t-shirts across the meeting room. "You get it a shirt!" He threw one at Mei. "You get a shirt!" One at Melissa. "You get a shirt!" Two more at Gentle and La Brava. "Everyone gets a shirt!" Shinso caught the last one.
"Jesus Christ." The mind controller scowled at the shirt that said 'L.O.V.E Will Conquer All!' with a logo of a jawless skull shaped into a heart.
God From The Abyss:
Izuku Midoriya had nothing. No quirk, no friends, no parents and after a talk with his hero All Might, no dream or goal. Maybe it was chance, but he liked to think it was fate when he found a strange old mysterious book at his favorite library. A book filled with long lost eldritch knowledge and rites not meant for mortal humans. Within the pages of this tome Izuku finds the secrets to opening a doorway to unimaginable power. All it requires is someone to turn the key and open it.
This is a villain story that borrows a lot of HP Lovecraft elements. I've been a huge fan of his work for a long time and I've always wanted to do a story using these elements. The basic premise is that Izuku finds the Necronomicon in a library and takes it. After discovering its secrets and learning some arcane magic he starts a cult. He forms an alliance with a group of inter dimensional beings called old ones with the purpose of eventually gaining audience and favor with a specific outer god, whom he wishes to make a deal with for absolute power. Its going to get crazy and weird. I feel more confident that I could write something like this now.
This is sort of loosely based off a graphic novel idea a friend and I came up with. The premise was an alternate universe where worshipping old ones is the mainstream religion of the world. Where all other religions faded away into obscurity thousands of years ago.
