![]() Author has written 4 stories for Sailor Moon, and Gundam Seed. I have been involved in the world of fan fiction from the late 90s, first as a reader and then not long after that as a writer. I remember how FanFiction.Net looked back in the early days before reviews, multichapter story support, sortable listings, and when the Sailor Moon page was a whopping 12 pages. My introduction to writing began following a convoluted tangent of thought that was spawned by designing a chemical reaction reactor during my senior design course back in 2000. That tangent path eventually led to the "The Fragility of Time," a story that has grown far from my initial expectations for it and a story that I am still working on now almost a decade later. I have, of course, moved on from school having earned both my BS and ME in Chemical Engineering and I know work as a contract researcher. For someone who loves to solve problems this has been a great job fit as you never know what kind of job that you will get next, which means there is always more to learn. Outside of work I love to take time to hike and to engage in nature photography. Many weekends in the summer will find me out in the woods with my camera and lenses enjoying the outdoors and looking for interesting items to photograph. I am also involved in volunteering as an usher for the theaters downtown, which means that I get to see a lot of great performances (theater, opera, ballet, symphony, chamber orchestra, amongst others). However, with all of this going on plus battling CML means that I tend to not have much time to write as I once did. This coupled with wanting to write chapters that have substance (each one needs to have its own independent reason for being) means that my updates can be quite sparse. But don't worry I will not abandon either the Fragility of Time (FoT) or the Archangel of Peace (AoP). As to what shows I like, I have a strong fondness of Tenchi Muyo Ryo-ohki! (that is the OVA series), the various Gundam series (and in particular the Seed line, as evidenced by AoP), Kaleido Star, Sailor Moon, Noir, Madlax, and Full Moon. I also enjoy science fiction, particularly Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, and of late Lost. As far as books I have enjoyed the Harry Potter series as well the works by Tom Clancy and JRR Tolkien. As far as some favorite fanfiction I would suggest the "Tales of the Younger Senshi" sagas by Tuxedo Will and Douglas Helms (as well as the rest of their work, all strongly recommended), the works by Draegyn, "Sailor Moon Millenials" by the Judge (unfortunately it is abondoned but what is there is still a very good read), and the Universal saga by Jendra. Much of how I base the relationship between Usagi and ChibiUsa in my storeis is based on their relationship as described by Jendra in her wonderful stories. I always welcome and encourage comments and questions on my stories, whether they be positive or negative. Feel free to send me emails or IM me even if it is to just poke me and say "Get back to the computer and write some more." Hope you enjoy my works. -Eagle |
