Author has written 31 stories for Lancer, Laramie, Wagon Train, and Have Gun Will Travel.

A fan of old Westerns including Lancer, Laramie, Wagon Train and Have Gun Will Travel. I'll also admit to getting starry-eyed over Roy Rogers.

Old-fashioned in outlook and quite content to be so, I have a liking for most things of the nineteenth century including literature, architecture and clothing.

As a relative newcomer to fiction writing with no literary ambitions whatsoever, I hammer out stories I want to read myself and post them here in case, by chance, others might enjoy them as well.

The Right Sheriff reviews
The Mort Corey played by Robert Osterloh in 'Hour After Dawn' is quite unlike the Mort Cory played by Stuart Randall from the second season onwards. Indeed, they're so unlike, they might be two different men...

On The Boat From Inverness reviews
While on a boat from Inverness to Urquhart Castle, my thoughts linked with those of a young man who may have travelled the same route in the 19th century. For me, it was an afternoon excursion but for Murdoch Lancer, it would have been only the first stage of a far longer journey.

Long Delayed (The second of three Jigsaw pieces) reviews
Scott had always believed Murdoch wanted nothing to do with his son. Now he finds Murdoch believed Scott wanted nothing to do with his father. Harlan's scheming had been deeper than either of them knew. (Note: This story was posted a while back but the next Jigsaw piece is set shortly after and makes reference to it, so for neatness I've bumped it to make the second of a trilogy.)

A True Lady (The first of three Jigsaw pieces) reviews
Johnny had heard, we assume from his mother, that Murdoch turned the two of them out. Johnny is quite convinced of this, so Maria must have been a mighty good liar. Or perhaps she wasn't lying. Perhaps she was telling Johnny something she herself believed to be true.
