About my tastes:

My favorite series: big fan of HP, Twilight, Song of Ice and Fire, and Star Wars.

I generally often enjoy writing about the secondary characters in books who don't get as much airtime, so some of my one-shots and short stories feature them (Lauren, Mike, etc) or Neville, Dean...you get the idea.

I generally enjoy long or detailed fanfictions. While there are plenty of one shots and short fics that are fabulous, I find fics under 30k words don't really grab my attention (again - like all things, there are some notable exceptions).

/ Rant Mode On

I generally DON'T enjoy 'pseudo' Crossover fanfictions that completely change the premise of a fandom: For example, I read an HP/Game of Thrones crossover where 'Harry' ends up in Westeros. Except - he had no magic, almost no memories, no nothing. So, how is that a Harry Potter xover exactly...? It was certainly a GOT story, but HP? Nothing whatsoever of 'Harry' in the entire story except maybe a paragraph about 'old memories' that he no longer can recall.

Very confused on that. How is that in any way, shape, or form a crossover? No, it seems to me it's more of an attempt at garnering more views for the story by 'including' it in the HP Fandom. That's not to say it's necessarily 'bad', but its not a crossover. So i try to avoid those stories where i can as they seem dishonest to me.

'sides that, i'm a live and let live sort of person. Write what you want, enjoy it if you can while writing it (though I've written plenty of things I haven't really 'enjoyed' writing, but felt like I needed to get it off my chest and exorcise any personal latent demons I may have ;

I've got at least a dozen - perhaps more - shorts that one day i'll get around to cleaning up and posting. Many are hard M rated, others are whimsy's or things like my RIP FORKS or my Lauren Mallory / Everclear short. I'd thought them lost but a couple of years ago found them on an old usb drive/drives that i'd used for saving backups of works in progress. RIP Forks was one such item, as was Mike Hits the Showers and Draco The Slytherin Seduction. I've got others with Bella and many secondary characters - more Mike, Mr Banner, Tyler, Tyler and his buddies, Tyler Eric and Mike, Jessica Eric Austin and Bella, etc. I guess I liked writing smut back then.

NOTE:

Some of the M rated stories will really deserve their ratings - sorry if that's not your thing, though many of them might start with an early lime or lemon but then there are few if any after that. Pool Party lovin is one such story, as is Goodbye to My Wolf. First half of the story is lemons, and then none.

The T rated are generally age appropriate for 13 and up, and in some cases (Angela's Wedding, for example) are more like rated 'K', but I kept the T in keeping with the general age group for Twilight. If there are any sections in the T rated stories that skirt the line to more mature material, there will be warnings embedded in the story.

Other Sites

at AO3, am ptrtool1999. Only have a few stories there right now (11-22) but will probably upload old stories I never published here over there. Already have one such (an old smutty story, Bella/Bob Banner pairing)
