Hello and welcome to the profile of 'Mad-Man in a Box Productions'. Alternatively known as just 'Mad-Man in a Box'.

Mad-Man in a Box is the author of a series of Doctor Who stories, although he does write other stories occasionally.

Series 1 of these stories is being written right now, with the first and second stories finished and the third story being written right now! The last one is currently in planning stages.

Mad-Man In a Box's Doctor Who Stories, Series 1 Plot Synopsis's:

Story #1: A Night to Remember (Completed, rated T)

Synopsis: The Doctor and Clara land onboard the Titanic on the night it collides with an iceberg and sinks. With the TARDIS stolen by an alien race known only as the 'Collectors' and just a few hours before the ship sinks, the Doctor and Clara must escape from the Titanic before they too are lost forever to the icy depths of the Atlantic...

Story #2: Next Stop: Everywhere (Collection of One-Shots, Completed, Rated T)

Synopsis: A collection of short stories featuring the Doctor and Clara as they fight monsters, save civilisations and get to know each other better. Along the way, the enigma of the rifts in time and their association with the almost-extinct Collector race become a mystery the Doctor is intent on solving...

Story #3: The Harbinger's Call (Season Finale, In-Progress, rated M)

Synopsis: "We're at war, no-one wants to admit it but humanity is under attack... One man, one very specific man might be all that stands between humanity and the greatest threat of of our breif existence..." The Doctor and Clara are recruited by Torchwood in 2234 to fight off the threat of the Collectors', who have flown out of thr cracks in time in the millions and have launched a massive attack on Earth and other human settlements and colonies. But something far greater is lurking in the darkness of a univese that is separate to our own, something even more deadly then the Collectors is waiting there. Something that doesn't want to conquer the universe, it just wants to conquer one man... The past and the future collides in an epic battle, and things for the Doctor and Clara will never be the same again.

Story #4: Whispers in the Dark (50th Anniversary Special)

Synopsis: The year is 2183, and as humanity reaches ever further for the stars, a mining project has unearthed two time-travellers, a blue box and the frozen, mummified corpse of a wanted criminal. Inside the corpse lies a deadly creature from a bygone age, a disembodied spirt that is as old as time itself. A creature which infects the mind and poisons the soul. A creature that has escaped through a rift in time, to the 23rd of November 1963...

Story #5: 7 Days of Christmas (Christmas Special)

Synopsis: A rupture in time causes the TARDIS to go sailing off into the vortex, leaving the Doctor stranded on Earth, 2013. As the Doctor tries to find out what happened to the TARDIS and how to get it back, he is forced to stay with the Maitlands, and with Clara. Over the space of just one week during the 2013 Christmas Holidays the Doctor leaves a remarkable impression on Mr Maitland, Clara's father, Artie and Angie. He himself soon learns that domestic life perhaps isn't as boring as he thought, provided he has someone to share it with... It is, after all, one adventure he never have. Well, almost never.

Series 2 Plot Synopsis's:

Story #1: The Last Cyberman (Title TBC

Synopsis: The Doctor and Clara venture into the ruins of a colony on a dark, inhospitable world in the company of a squad of the Emperors' best soldiers in order to hunt down a Cyberman, the Last Cyberman. A Cyberman who was born by a single Cybermat, who drifted through space after the destruction of Hedgewick's World, until it found spare parts...

Story #2: Empire or the Daleks (Title TBC)

Synopsis: ???

Story #3: The Sainted Physician (Title TBC)

Synopsis: Set between 'The Angels Take Manhattan' and 'The Snowmen'. The Doctor goes to Sunlight Delta 4, a planet that is said to offer spectacular solar views, in the hope of relaxing and recovering after Amy and Rory's departure. But things go very wrong very quickly, the Doctor discovers a research base on the planet and events begin to unfold, traumatic events that will change his perspective on life until a plucky young Governess rescues him from himself. Angsty, dark, scary and dramatic, shows the Eleventh Doctor's inner darkness and his surprisingly fragile mental state.

Story #4: Human Nature (Title TBC)

Synopsis: This could become a series of it's own and this spot could be replaced by something else eventually but for now, it's going to be a part of Series 2. Basically a remake/novelisation of one of the greatest Doctor Who stories ever: Human Nature/ The Family of Blood. Featuring the Eleventh Doctor as John Smith and Clara as his maid.

Story #5: Never Dream of Dying

Synopsis: Events are closing, the day is almost upon us...

The Doctor and Clara land in Shlackville, a small town nestled in the English countryside. There, things are not as they seem from afar. A mysterious, alien shield is covering the town, dark deeds are being carried out in the name of religion, and the sinister event the villagers call the 'Twlight Feast' is ever-looming. What is the 'Twilight Feast'? Why can't anyone leave Shlackville now? The Doctor is about to find the answers to the questions. But first, he must venture into the most terrifying place in the universe, his own mind...

The Doctor and Clara have always been running, but up until now, they have never been certain what they were running from...

Cold, Hard Cash (Casino Royale Remake) reviews
Remake of the Ian Flaming novel 'Casino Royale'. Has elements of both the movie and the book in it and some scenes and subplots exclusive to it. Set in an alternate timeline of James Bond events were the Cold War hasn't yet ended and Russian/Western relations are still very strained. Focuser's on both the Baccarat game and Vesper/Bond's love affair.
