![]() Author has written 3 stories for Mass Effect, X-overs, Evangelion, Anime X-overs, and Pacific Rim. What if... There never were any Prothean ruins on Mars? (Someday) Shinji Ikari wound up in the universe of Pacific Rim? (Maybe) The Gone series actually made sense? (Never) Also... Food for Thought, a brunch of random thoughts, story ideas, and one-shots that look promising but I do not have the time/energy to work on. (When I get hit by lightning/inspiration or just need a break from other stuff) Advancement series (Shattered Skies, Lost Wonders[working title]): Protheans never had a research station on Mars. As a result humans develop along different routes mostly centered around our method of FTL transit, the warp-drive. Necessity is the mother of invention, and when we set our minds to it we accomplish amazing things. The needs of space travel and the lack of element zero spurred the creation of better batteries, higher functioning AI's, precision lasers, magnetic acceleration cannons, and so much more. They have become the ultimate form of the outside context problem. Now if only they had the numbers to back it up. A Different Tomorrow (Evangelion/Pacific Rim): The Breach, the Dirac Sea, two names in to two worlds separated in the vast multiverse for the same thing. During the battle with Leliel Shinji does not return home like he should but is catapulted into very different world with very similar problems. Cut off from the only friends and family he has had in years Shinji must now continue the fight. Can he rebuild his life in this new world and face his demons? Can he find a way to return home? Can Shinji truly be the hero everyone claims he is? Gone fanfic (Nuked): Okay, so the first book in the series made some sense saying Little Pete did it. And I was totally okay with it because the internal logic made some sense or was just doing things because it looked cool. However, when Grant decided to explain the gaiaphage I had to stop reading for a bit. Seriously, that's what you came up with? A sentient space rock meant to create more life? What am I reading? Evangelion minus the mechas plus superpowers? Those thoughts ran round and round in my head for a while before I just figured it was only a book and I shouldn't let that bug me so much. But it still bugged the ever loving sh*t out of me. Even after I finished reading Light it was still bugging me. Only problem with writing this one is that I wanted to do a few other fics in this verse but I'm too lazy to make them separately.
