Author has written 1 story for Song of the Lioness.
Started this profile in high school (a decade ago, oy...), but the muse for Melisande seems to have taken a permanent vacation, which is a shame. I still turn it over in my head from time to time, but it's nothing solid I can run with. I'd love to pick it up again someday, but we'll just have to wait and see. Creativity for me is fickle at best. I still write, but it's my own fantasy/sci-fi stories. I remain here as a fan. AshBear, Lady Librarian and Resmiranda are absolutely superb writers and I adore their stories, I cannot praise them enough. A Road to Somewhere made me cry XD But in a good way! Now shoo, go read them.
I have a pretty wide mix of what I read, probably the most bizarre being Twilight. I dislike Twilight as Meyer wrote it, but if I find the right author here, I can actually enjoy Jacob/Bella stories. Yeah, it doesn't make sense to me, either. I'm picky, tho. I tend to go OTP, but if you can write an alternative pairing scenario that's interesting and makes some sort of sense, I'm willing to give it a shot. Good grammar and at least decent spelling are needed because otherwise my OCD just keeps poking me 'til I can't enjoy it anymore. That is not aimed as an insult at anyone, just a comment on my own quirks. If you enjoy writing, go for it. Other people enjoying the results is just a bonus. I do have a tendency to be a silent reader because I tend to get tunnel vision and just tear through what I've found. If I just click follow/favorite on your story, I apologize in advance.
What I read: Stargate SG-1, Final Fantasy (VII, VIII and X), Hunger Games, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Twilight, Avatar, Rurouni Kenshin, Once Upon A Time, X-Men, Doctor Who, Dresden Files, Pacific Rim, Escaflowne, Juuni Kokki, (Twelve Kingdoms), Mortal Instruments, Covert Affairs, and more that I'm probably forgetting.
When I read it's generally accompanied by Within Temptation, Imagine Dragons, Paramore, Three Days Grace, Apocalyptica, Breaking Benjamin, Darius Rucker, Tim McGraw, The Band Perry, 3 Doors Down, Pink, Muse, Paul Simon, James Taylor, and Disney soundtracks. Weird mix, ne?
And the obligatory statement of ships:
