Author has written 13 stories for Harry Potter.
As you can see, that plot bunny wouldn't let go, so I'm now working on the sequel to Cuts. I'm trying to post weekly updates. Still a canon fan. Still not a fan of character bashing. Still wish we were awaiting another book!
Now that I've returned to the fandom, and recently finished my latest story, I have to admit my brain is alive with plot bunnies. I'm not making any promises, but I hope to continue the lives in the aftermath began in These Cuts I Have.
All my stories are, and will continue to be canon pairings because that's what I like, and and I'm proud to say I saw them coming. I recently had a reviewer leave comments on multiple stories to the effect of "...I read an interview recently that says that JK Rowling actually regrets pairing Harry up with Ginny at the end of the Deathly Hallows." When asked for a specific link to the comment, I didn't hear back. My best guess is that the reviewer was commenting on the newspaper reports relating to the interview with JKR and Emma Watson. In that interview, the two women were discussing Ron and Hermione's relationship, and JKR said, and I quote, “In some ways Hermione and Harry are a better fit.”
That was the exact quote. Harry and Ginny were never actually mentioned, and they finished the interview saying Ron and Hermione would be fine. If you're not a fan of canon pairings, there are loads of other stories on this site that you can read. For me, I'm a huge fan, and I believe Harry ended up with the perfect match for him.
I don't like character bashing, so you won't find it here. There are certain characters I don't like, but I will always strive to keep them in character and have Harry treat them as Harry feels, not as I, the author feels.
I'd give just about anything to be awaiting the release of another canon book about now. Fanfiction lets me remain in the world I grew to love so much. I hope you enjoy my stories.
