Author has written 13 stories for Mass Effect, X-Com, Warhammer, Sins of a Solar Empire, Warframe, and Prototype. About Myself: I am a first year Biochemistry student at the University of Bath who pretty much spends his spare time either writing or cursing his writer's block. My favourite game series ever is Mass Effect although I am also fond of Warframe, Sins of a Solar Empire, XCOM, Gratuitous Space Battles, Warhammer 40K and the Crysis series. I also have an unhealthy and unexplained love for really bad monster movies (Sharknado, Ghost Shark and Arachnoquake all spring to mind) as well as enjoying more acceptable film fare such as Avatar, Inception and Despicable Me. When writing I have the tendency to veer towards very adults-only material, with sexual themes and graphic violence throughout most of my stories. If that isn't your thing then don't worry, I include squick warnings for the really bad bits so you can just skip over them. I find it very hard to stick to canon, meaning the vast majority of my stories are very AU. My Stories: The Space Race: In recent years, really since the end of the Cold War, space exploration has lost the momentum it had during the sixties. This story deals with the concept that the Space Race never let up. Two hundred years after the launch of Sputnik 1 the Soviet Union meets a Turian patrol fleet at Relay 314 and along with their allies the USA, the Raachok, the Atavira and the Seu'Seun they almost become embroiled in a bitter war with the Citadel Council. Events conspire to forge an unshakeable bond of friendship between Turian and Human, an alliance that begins to fracture the Council at its core as Turian-Asari relations become increasingly stressed. With the sudden assault by the Collectors and the subtle manipulations of the mysterious Ethereal Guilds, will the races of the galaxy stand together, or tear each other apart? The Coup: Most people would have seen the situation and taken the deal. But Natasha Shepard wasn't most people. And she really didn't like Cerberus. This story explores an alternative version of Mass Effect 2, one where instead of obeying the Illusive man for the greater good Shepard breaks free from Cerberus - and takes the organisation down with the help of the Quarian Migrant Fleet. Bridges: When Ivan finds an amulet that gives him the power to hop across universes at will he ends up joining Commander Francesca Shepard on the SSV Normandy as she hunts down Saren. Motivated first by vengeance, then by love, his mere presence in the universe starts sending the timeline awry and the only one who can help him understand his powers is sealed in a glass tank on Noveria. Quickly becoming filled with people that shouldn't be aboard the Normandy, including Saren's daughter, Matriarch Benezia, Legion and Shepard's psychotic sister, Ivan has to ask himself - am I doing more harm than good? Gethsemane: Instead of Cerberus recovering Commander Shepard's body it was Legion who rebuilt her. Narrowly dodging a second death at the hands of the Collectors, her body lies in a coma as a fragment of her personality drives her own creations, the Gethsemane, to assemble a team and defeat the Collectors and anyone else who may threaten her. As Garrus desperately tries to hold the team of disparate individuals together, Tali enters the mental prison the Commander has built around herself in a last ditch attempt to reunite the broken woman inside with the AI offshoot of her mind directing the Gethsemane. Meanwhile Zaeed, Jack and Grunt begin to suspect there is more to the Gethsemane than meets the eye. Sins of the Reapers: The Reapers have come and nobody was ready. As the synthetics slaughter and harvest their way through the galaxy some disturbing facts come to the attention of Cadmus Vakarian and his twelve year old son, Garrus. The Krogan, the Quarians and the Geth have all disappeared from the face of the galaxy, none of them turning up indoctrinated. It is only when their ship is attacked by Reaper forces and they are saved by Colonel Urdnot Wrex of the TEC Marines Ascension branch do they begin to realise the truth. With the Vakarian family now citizens of the Trader Emergency Coalition, Cadmus gets a position aboard the TON Karamazov under Captain Rael'Zorah as Garrus joins Tali and the Shepard twins in supersoldier training, preparing for the final showdown between the TEC and the Reapers.
