Author has written 3 stories for Pride and Prejudice.
Hey all! Thanks for visiting my page!
About me: P&P is my favorite novel, hence the questionable obsession with its fandom, from reading to writing. All of my fics here are regency and all are oriented towards romance.
* Regarding my story, A Woman Scorned - I have removed it from this site in the interest of protecting it from the threat of plagiarism JAFF authors have begun to experience at a growing rate. Anyone interested in following up on the story's conclusion starting in late September of this year can find it on the JAFF-centric site, The Meryton Assembly, where I go by the username justMJ. TMA is moderated to a degree that allows for most authors to feel a measure of safety that many of us no longer experience here. If you're disappointed by my decision, blame the d-bags of the world that make us feel unsafe to share our work for free!* end rant*
Other things to throw out there:
1 - I'm of the very strong opinion that when thinking of P&P, one can only picture the peerless Mr. Colin Firth and his luminous co-star, the lovely Miss Jennifer Ehle, if one is to be right in the head. Emaciated Kiera Knightly as my beloved Elizabeth Bennet makes me want to throw up on Joe Wright's poor, unsuspecting child. And Matthew MacFadyen is NOT Mr. Darcy. He just isn't. Don't want to offend anyone who is a fan of that version, but it's the gospel truth.
2 - As a reader I also devour The Mentalist ff (my FAVE ever show), though I don't expect to ever try my hand at that fandom. And I'm devastated that the show is over. Like, I don't know what to do with myself anymore. Lisbon, come back to me...
3 - My favorite quote is only two words, spoken by one John Cage: "Begin Anywhere." It just speaks volumes to me.
4 - Comments on my fics are more than welcome, though please be nice boys and girls if you disapprove. Authors have feelings too, and we take a big chance by putting our amateur work online for millions of people to read. Just sayin'.
Now have a smiley face: :-) And pass it on.
