This is probably the most important thing on this page. Please read. Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing So yeah, ya'll. Take that writing and apply it to recent news and happenings in your life. It'll make everything look different. Work List as of 10/12/2020 Claws and Magic is definitely going to get written just not now. I want to finish a big block of Sannin Switch first and then do some Moon Phased before I make it back to this. To Be a Hero Is up next to get written! I'm finishing Maple in Tokyo and after that I'll be pushing to get through a whole arc before switching to something else again. Maple in Tokyo: is finished!!! YEET! I might add a few cute one shots but the main body of this can be considered finished. Sannin Switch: Currently working through the first kiddie arc. Moon Phased Wizard: will get written just not right now. I'm working on Sannin Switch and To Be a Hero. It will get written after I finish the sannin switch arc I'm working on. Deception before Deltora: Finished the Forest of Silence arc! I'm not sure when I'll come back to it but I will eventually get on to writing the other stuff. Lost Child of the Basilisk: is going to get written, just not right now. I don't know when its going to get written, but likely after To Be A Hero and not much. Its not my main priority. Phantom in the Window: Finished! Woohoo! Will eventually do a sequel, just not now. Other than all that... I've got some one shot ideas and I want to get started on a story I adopted from GoldenBrooke15. God Bless America! Hi, I like the color green, cats, anime, books, and crafts. I have also recently become addicted to quilting. Currently working towards graduating with a bachelor's degree as a senior. I've enjoyed college and I can't wait to step into the next part of my life (earning money!!!). I'm also on WattPad and I normally update earlier there. So... hint hint. I have a deviant art account if you want to look at some of my art there. I also partner with my twin for Zovanah Inked. We are going to (hopefully) be publishing our first book sometime within the next year. Favorite anime Hakkenden: eight dogs of the east (Extemely well made and executed. Good animation but even better plot/story. Some of it is kinda sketchy tho... as far as implied romance goes.) Natsume Yujincho (the emotional drama and actual action scenes are just as good as the slow parts. Trust me.) Log Horizon (because its awesome) Yona of the Red Dawn (its BORING in the beginning but gets MUCH MUCH better by the end, I Promise) Brave Ten (because lets face it ladies, the guys in here are awesome with looks AND skills) Deltora Quest (Childish I know but still really good) Naruto ( chibi naruto with fox ears... enough said) Detective conan/case closed (because with at least 16 seasons, it really does have what it takes to be awesome. I mean, how does the writer COME UP with that many mysteries?!) Nura: Rise of the Youkai Clan (good plot and good animation) Yu Gi Oh 1999 season ( season zero is way better than ALL the others) Favorite Books Chronicles of Narnia Legend of Deltora (all of them!) Warriors: Firestar's Quest The Great Gatsby (hate the story, Love the writing style despite misgivings) Artemis Fowl Guardians of Ga'hoole Wolves of the Beyond Eragon (just the first book, the others couldn't hold my interest) Seraphina (good read, haven't finished number two yet) Truthwitch (a good book though some of the liberal stuff in there is annoying) My dream/delusion of hope: Dragons We don't believe in dragons because we can't find their bones. My theory, dragons breathe fire and we don't know how that works. What if after they died the fire burned away their bones or their stomach acid did. We don't know how hey worked so we can't assume this is not the case. Maybe there are still actual dragons out there even. Just because you've never seen something does it make it any less true? :Under the sea Only about 10% of the ocean has been explored. While we might know exactly what lives on the surface, the depths of the ocean are still a great mystery and I personally believe the Loch Ness monster was a dinosaur that decided to vacation in the loch before heading back out for deeper waters. Also, can we REALLY say no such thing as mermaids or call manatees mermaids? I've seen them (manatees) in real life and they look nothing alike. Secret Fear You know all those zombie movies running around? I'm afraid some basket case genius is going to end up making it into reality. Some stupid major fan of zombies is going to find a way to make world war Z into reality one day and I am going to die of heart attack. Truly. That or somebody will actually find a way to bring the dinosaurs back. Eep... way too many teeth. |
