Author has written 10 stories for Halo, State of Decay, The Thing, Doom, and Gone Home.
Hello, I am Obsidian. I've been writing for this site, off and on, for thirteen years now. In 2013, I took a long hiatus due both to burnout and a shift in focus to self-publishing original work in an attempt to pay my bills doing something I love. Since then, I wrote a fifteen novel series and almost went crazy doing so. In the three years since leaving this site, I've felt the call to write fan fiction once again and I've compiled a strong list of stories that I really want to write.
Now I'm back! I'm going to be writing again for the foreseeable future. Below is a list of links to my social media that I'll keep up to date on. Make sure to check them out regularly for news, specifically my blog, where I'll talk about games and other random stuff and provide updates on my projects.
Thanks for reading my works!
One last thing. I'm not one to ask or pester people for reviews, but I would like to say that reviews, even simple ones, really help with motivation. I'll keep writing regardless, but if you like me or my stories, the best thing you can do is leave a review.
CURRENT STATUS (09.01.2017): Again, I'm afraid I don't really have a lot to say. I'm still very busy and likely will be for a few months. The DOOM Chronicles: Episode One is finished and I've put The DOOM Chronicles on hiatus until 2018. Sorry, but I'd really like to get at least a few other shorter, simpler fan fics written and posted before returning to that beast. Currently, I'm posting my novelization of Gone Home. It will update every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until complete. As it is already written and edited, the posting will remain consistent. It will be finished before October. After that, I have a shorter, stranger story that I'm strongly considering writing. It will be in a section that I have never, in my entire time on this site, written in, and I'm excited about it. But I can't even promise that I will get to start it soon because I'm so freaking busy.
