Author has written 16 stories for Glee.
So I'm new to posting my fanfiction here, but far from new to writing it. I've recently developed a passion for Glee fanfic, specifically shipping Klaine and Finchel. My God. Did I just admit to shipping Finchel? Okay. Let's clarify. I write Klaine fanfic. And I usually have Finchel in the background of my Klaine fanfics. Just because I have SO MANY friends from high school who, years later, are still with the person they met then, so I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility for most of the canon couples to be endgame.
I'm old enough that my first ever fanfiction genre, before I even knew that was I was writing WAS fanfic, was Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Maybe one day I'll post some of that fanfiction. We'll see. I also write Star Trek: Voyager fanfiction, but again, nothing posted. A pretty eclectic set of interests, I know...
I've never used a beta reader, so any mistakes are my own.
I hope you all enjoy my writing. I accept personal messages, so if you have a prompt idea for me, that you would like to see done in my style, feel free to let me know. I may start a twitter or tumblr account at some point in the future, but for now, this is it. UPDATE: Tumblr - thaliana1981 Twitter - @thaliana81
Thanks for reading, and don't forget to review!
I have two other Klaine fics in the works, but I'm not going to even start typing those until Innocence is done. I have a million and one ideas, including some Anderberry siblings, which I never ever ever thought I'd get behind, and one epic fic that involves most of the graduating population of New Directions ending up in New York and doing one of the most iconic of Broadway Plays together.
Can anyone explain something to me? Kurt Hummel (and the New Directions) attend William McKinley High in Lima, Ohio. Blaine Anderson (and the Warblers) attend Dalton Academy, in Westerville, Ohio . Those two cities are nearly TWO HOURS apart (I used Google Maps). And yet, students from each school can randomly run into each other at the Lima Bean? (Which I'm assuming is in LIMA, as it's called the LIMA Bean.) Plus...if Blaine chose to leave Dalton, was it just coincidence that his family HAPPENED to live in the catchment area for WMHS? And if so, why hadn't he and Kurt met before Blaine got bullied and left his old school to go to Dalton? These are simple logistics errors that should have been ironed out by the writers. *sigh* AND, if Westerville WAS close enough to Lima to make meetings at the Lima Bean possible, do the boys actually board at Dalton? And if Kurt boarded at Dalton (which he would have had to if it were two hours away), how did he bring a glass of warm milk to Finn every night in the hopes of 'lady chat'??? (The Sue Sylvester Shuffle)
Okay. Seriously...my logical mind is having real problems here. Help!
Note: Apparently I'm not the only one that sees these inconsistencies! has a ton more I didn't even consider! Argh! I will attempt to write these contradictions as best I can to suit my writing. Okay, rant over. For now.
I'm going to finish Innocence. At some point. Unfortunately, my writing tends to get tedious and mired in details at times, and I'm trying to edit it so it's less talk, more action. In the meantime, when I need a break, I've been working on another epically long fic, which was supposed to be a sweet, smutty BDSM fic in which Klaine never actually met until long after high school, even though they have tons of mutual friends. But again, there's far too much dialogue and far too little action. I think it's far too slow. Would anyone be interested in reading it anyway? Maybe even as a beta...just to see if it's even...a popular idea? I dunno, just an idea.
