![]() Author has written 2 stories for White Collar, and Republic of Doyle. Looking at my favourite stories, I am all over the place. I am most interested in the idea of trust in relationships, and how trust, or lack thereof, can affect them. As well, in fiction, I find the times we find out the most about someone's true character is when everything is on the line, and it usually involves blood, the irony being I have both hemophobia and aichmophobia, fears of blood and needles. Both are triggers in real life, but not in fics. Strange. To sum it up, I'm a fan of the hurt, not so much the comfort. I utterly detest slash, barring rare exceptions. The same goes for crack. I'm just trying my hand at writing, six months after discovering the website that consumes the most of my time on a daily basis. I have a couple fics for White Collar that are nothing more than a chapter. I binge watch shows like no one's business. White Collar, Suits and Republic of Doyle are the ones that seem to be sustaining me right now. Don't ask about my weird obsession with seeing Tony Stark plugged into things (or, more specifically, having things plugged into him). 01/10/17 - As I've discovered, I have a lot of plot bunnies that never get beyond a chapter. I will be content to read, and read, and read. My New Year's Resolution, however, if we call it that, is to review more. I have a bad habit of consuming content as quickly as possible, and not showing the appropriate appreciation for all the hard work that goes into creating the wonderful works that provide me so much joy. That being said, I am close (I think) to picking up Days Like This again. I will probably have to go back and rewatch at least that episode, if not a couple more, to start thinking in the Newfoundland accent again. Look for an update within the year. Finally, if you're looking for me, you can usually find me in the Percy Jackson and White Collar fandoms. I have been known to frequent numerous other fandoms as they strike my fancy, including The Flash (2014), Lethal Weapon (TV), Daredevil, Sherlock and Iron Man/The Avengers, among others. |
