Author has written 24 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh.
Please don't send me PMs to read your stories. It's nothing personal, I just have specific tastes in fics.
Yugi & Téa (Peachshipping)
Atem & Téa (Vanishshipping/Revolutionshipping)
Yugi, Téa, Atem (Spiritshipping/Encourageshipping)
Yes I ship both Peachshipping and Revolutionshipping at the same time. I like to incorporate the theory that Yugi is Atem's reincarnation so that it can be said it is possible that an incarnation of Téa could have been with Atem in the past in Ancient Egypt. I use this headcanon in my stories to allow me to ship both pairings at once. So the pairings I most strongly support are Atem & Tea(na) in the past and Yugi & Téa in the present.
When I start writing stories, the reincarnation theory will be present and that is how I will figure in my pairings.
Other Liked Pairings:
Joey & Mai
Tristan & Serenity
Seto & Kisara
Mana & Mahad
Téa & Seto (my guilty ship)
*About My Stories/Writing*
All my fanfiction, as of right now are Peachshipping, Vanishshipping/Revolutionshipping or Spiritshipping/Encourageshipping.
My stories often contain other minor couplings I prefer: JoeyxMai, SetoxKisara and TristanxSerenity. Some may also contain slight undertones of Azureshipping (TéaxSeto) if you squint.
They also often contain reference to Yugi and Téa eventually getting together, and Atem having an ancient lover, Teana, who was the incarnation of Téa.
When writing fanfics in Ancient Egypt, the YGO cast will be named as follow:
I tried to make these names as close as possible to the dub or Japanese names. Teana and Jono are taken from their well-known Egyptian counterpart names in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories Game while the others are Egyptian names I have found.
The Super Controversial Question: Is Yugi really Atem's reincarnation?
I wholeheartedly believe they are indeed reincarnations of each other. Their likeness is uncanny, although they do have some small physical characteristics that are different. There are other reincarnations present in the series as shown by Seto Kaiba/High Priest Seto and Ishizu/Priestess Isis and Solomon/Shimon. These people seem to represent full/complete reincarnations. We still see the ancient counterparts in the door to the afterlife, but their reincarnations are still alive and living.
It is even said in the conversation between Marik and Ishizu in final duel of Yu-Gi-Oh :
"Fate chose Yugi as the vessel for the Pharaoh’s spirit not because he needed the Pharaoh’s help, but because Yugi himself is the modern day version of the Pharaoh, equal in every way. The two were brought together because they represent opposite sides of the same soul."
"Yes, but they’re so…"
"What? They’re so different from one another because Yugi is shy and the Pharaoh is assertive and confident? Well the truth is that they each had a quality that the other needed, so they learned from each other."
"Hold on. So are you saying they’re complete now?"
"We’ll soon find out…"
These words were uttered by Ishizu and Marik in Part 2 of the Final Duel.
In addition, if you look at Yami Yugi/Atem’s personality in the Manga and Season Zero you can how crazy his character really is. Yes, he has been confined to the Millennium Puzzle for years and that can make someone insane, but I believe there is more to it. Look at how child-like and relatively innocent Yugi is (relatively as we all know Yugi isn't entirely innocent). These two are halves of each other. Once they were reunited they became more and more like the other. However, I want to make it very clear here though that Yugi is NOT weak. He is a strong individual and I do not believe that Atem reaped all the stronger elements.
My theory is that when Atem sealed his soul in the Millennium Puzzle, the Millennium Items sucked the more darker (or what is stereo-typically consdered stronger) elements of his soul and corrupted them, hence the anti-hero Atem. The remaining part of his soul was reincarnated in Yugi. That explains in retrospect, Yugi’s personality and how both of them are somwhat opposites and this may even explain his lack of height. We can see the darkness aspect of the Millennium Items from the Millennium Eye. It influenced Aknadin to great extents and Pegasus as well, who weren’t/aren’t necessarily bad people without it. I believe these items specifically, that have the most impact, because they are in closest contact to the bearer. All holders of the items may experience some sort of side effect even if mild. Atem living in one item, in such long periods of time must have had catastrophic effects.
We can add on Ryou and Bakura as another example. Both Yugi and Ryou are similar in that respect of being portrayed softer, gentler and less confident (but not without great resilience and a different type of strength). Likewise, I believe Bakura (although already corrupted by Zork) retained the darker characteristics. Takahashi also had said that Ryou Bakura had the potential to become like Thief King Bakura. That says a lot. Where we live and our experiences certainly shape us. Perhaps Thief King Bakura might have been more like Ryou if incident at Kul Elna never happened. We might never know. Because the fact of the matter is that every experience we have affects us, if not greatly, very mildly. I think Yugi too has the potential to be like Atem. It is just his own experiences and how he was brought up that he will not become exactly like Atem.
I believe Yugi and Atem were destined this way. We can clearly see how Atem has softened and Yugi has gained greater confidence and the height ;) throughout the series. In GX we can see him even showing a greater resemblance to Atem if you want to add that in for good measure. It is quite remarkable and these two needed each other to complete their souls.Their reincarnation was an incomplete one. They needed each other to complete it. When they each truly became whole, through their company of one another, could Atem return to the afterlife. This is the point in which Atem’s spirit is given allowance to go to the afterlife and Yugi finally has all the elements to sustain himself in the fullest of manners because Atem has passed these on to his reincarnation. Likewise, Atem has retained the elements to be able to move on. The reincarnation is finally complete. This is when they can fully separate after learning basically everything about each other. It is then when their journey in that respect, is over.
Phew! Ok then, I hope that makes sense. You can add all the elements of Ka and Ba on to this if you want, but I don’t want to butcher them in here because I feel as if I would mess it all up.
-I do not support Téa/Anzu Bashing of any kind-
In all due honesty, I don't understand why people dislike her so much. People make it seem that Yami and Yugi hate her, which is very untrue. They seem to bash the imaginary version of who Téa/Anzu was and not actually who she was.
She has flaws and makes mistakes, but so what? Tell me you're perfect and have never done something stupid, childish. If you say yes, you're lying. Considering canon events, she is a teenager, a child. It's true her character may overdue her friendship speeches slightly in the dub, but she's not the only one who makes them. The other characters give quite an earful too. In fact, there was an actual count of who gave the most friendship speeches done, and Joey gave the most speeches followed by Yami and then Yugi. But still, she gets the blame. Why? Fangirls who bash her because she's the girl.
I cannot tolerate that. It's extremely childish and hateful. I lose respect for writers when they do this. Although she's not perfect she does have many admirable traits. She's optimistic, strong, caring, and fights for what she believes in. Don't forget she was the became Yugi's friend and stood up for him when no one else would.
My reasons for shipping Peachshipping:
-It's so adorable and cute!
-The creator of Yu-Gi-Oh, Kazuki Takahashi said that there was a love triangle between Anzu (Téa), Yugi and Yami. Obviously since Yami left for the afterlife, that just leaves Anzu (Téa) and Yugi.
-There was also something about Kazuki saying that if Anzu and Yugi still feel the same way about each other when Anzu comes home from America they'll probably get married. He didn't have to say all that, so it is likely that is what he wishes/intends to happen.
-Best friends falling in love with each other? Aw.
-This coupling is hinted canon. There were some obvious hinting of it in the show and the manga.
-During the ceremonial duel, even though Téa didn't want Atem to leave, she ended up cheering for Yugi. I wonder why that is? ;)
